Magma Granite & Marble

My recent experience with Magma can be described as very upsetting and unpleasant. We signed their contract to replace two bathroom countertops. Magma did the measuring for the replacement counter tops. Magma's sub contractor installers, were most interested in speed of installation rather than quality of installation. Before they left I told them one sink didn't set level and rocked back and forth. They said it would be OK in a few days. Two days later that sink had a 1/8 inch opening on one side. We informed Magna of this problem. They sent one off their employees who said the opening was not correctly cut and that they should do it over. Calls and unpleasant visits with the owners produced no resolve to this problem. They had many excuses why it didn't fit, including that the cast iron sink had warped. I hired a plumber, he made two small cuts to the counter top, caulked it and did the necessary things so the sink then for $220.00 fit fine In over twenty years this is the least professional business that I have ever dealt with I now know why they demand full payment the minute the project is done.

I recently hired Magma Granite & Marble and had a VERY unpleasant experience. Do not hire them! In my case I hired them to replace my kitchen counters and when the subcontractor botched the install, I called out the owner to discuss a remedy. The meeting went awful and it got hostile. At that point I engaged my attorney to assist. Magma then offered a shotty repair which I declined, and I suggested a better option which they refused. They have stopped taking my calls and my attorneys. I am now having to pay to correct THEIR MISTAKE. Simply don’t hire them and hire someone that actually cares about their customers and their reputation They clearly don't!

I just had my granite countertops installed today. I am extremely happy with them and the two installers did a fantastic job. I also had a good experience with the office personnel who scheduled the time for the template to be done as well as scheduling the installation for the counter. I purchased everything through Lowe’s, who hired Magma for the granite and installation. I would definitely recommend both.
