Laura worked with us to plan and carry out a major kitchen renovation, and she was absolutely the best! She brought great ideas and options for us to consider, listened carefully and thoughtfully to how we wanted to use the space and what we wanted it to look like, and was professional, patient, and creative throughout the entire process. She worked to give us a great space we would enjoy using, and the end result is gorgeous, bright, open, and so inviting. Her experience and knowledge made our dream come to life!

My husband and I are working with Laura on a complete remodel of our first floor, not an easy task given that he and I have somewhat different sensibilities in what we value in design. She is a great listener and has been unfailingly insightful in leading us through the design process. We are transforming our décor from traditional, late 80's design to a modern, glam style. I couldn't be happier with the choices Laura helped us make, from furniture to paint colors to light fixtures, it is all coming together beautifully.

We hired Laura to design our entire main floor, and she was fantastic! It was a huge project and one we knew we couldn't tackle on our own, and we are definitely happy we decided to work with Laura. She had such great recommendations and considered how every decision affected other areas in the house. She came up with unique ways to problem solve that we would have never considered or thought of. She was also a great collaborator and a pleasure to work with. We couldn't be happier with our new main floor and look forward to working with her again!

We’ve used Laura multiple times, and she never disappoints. She is diligent, has a keen sense of what we wanted in our major remodel, but also thinks outside the box. Her selections were perfect for our style during our complete basement remodel, plus our master bedroom and bath remodel. We look forward to working with her again on future projects.

Laura redesigned our complete main floor and master bath to meet our changing lifestyle from having raised 3 kids in our house to being an empty nest so we can retire in place. She listened to our needs, was open to brainstorming about the design, and found materials/colors/finishes which reflected our personal style. She also recommended and introduced us to two contractors to estimate the work; which has now been awarded to one of them and is scheduled to start around April 2021. She will continue to follow through the construction phase making sure the design is executed accordingly. In other words, she has provided exactly what we needed from an interior designer and I would recommend working with her on any home improvement project.

We are working with Laura on a complete first floor remodel of our home. She is very observant as she has analyzed our needs for changing the way we function in our home and has listened to our requests in both function and aesthetics. I hired Laura for design services for a major home renovation. She was very kind and patient while walking me through the steps needed to redesign a kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a laundry room. Laura has accomplished this with innovative ways to "meet" while observing Covid protocols. Now that we have the design completed, I look forward to hiring Laura to oversee the actual remodel.

Laura did an excellent job with an attic design on a house we were rehabbing. She provided multiple designs and visited the house several times to work with us on a difficult space (long and narrow). We believe that because she was able to help us, we sold the house quickly (2 days) and for the price we wanted!

Laura was easy to talk to. She listened to what I wanted , and was able to transform my vision into reality. I had an awkward kitchen and family room space that did not make sense, and with her vision, it transformed into a modern open-concept space. She had very reliable trustworthy trades working on my house which was HUGE especially when I wouldn’t know who to trust. I hope that I can work with her sometime soon again. She also was able to guide me towards exceptional well designed and built furniture, carpeting, and arrangement of decorative pieces.

Laura is a wonderful professional to work with. My husband and I would recommend her, trust her design choices, and plan to use her for any future renovation/redecorating projects. She showed excellent integrity and followed through on all the things she told us she would do and in a timely, if not prompt, manner. She went above and beyond on several occasions by helping us to express our needs or frustrations to our contractor. She is a master communicator, and always made us feel like our home was in good hands. We are in love with our new basement and master bath, and could not be happier!

Laura worked with me to pick out exterior shutters for our front window, and paint colors for them and the garage door. We also went over options for a small kitchen refresh. She is friendly, professional, easy to work with and has great attention to detail. I look for forward to working with her again soon.

The scope of my project was to update my multi-function / open kitchen area. The area happens to be my favorite part of the house because my family likes to congregate around it during visits and holidays, and I like to watch TV, read and hangout with friends by the fireplace . I hired Laura to help me design the area for better seating in the hearth and breakfast nook areas. Laura put together a design and a plan that met my vision for comfortable furniture, with clean design lines in the hearth breakfast nook and middle island areas. She also recommended an update to the fireplace mantel and banquette along with fresh updated paint color, and new textile accents that captured my preference for a Moroccan feel and colors. Throughout the entire cycle of the project, Laura was the ultimate pro. She was collaborative, maintained exceptional communication with me and the pros she brought in to do carpentry and paint work. She worked hard to make sure she understood the function and my design preferences, while at the same time provided guidance when I needed to explore new ideas. She is friendly and accessible, always on time and cheerful. I am very happy with the work and results of my kitchen area update, and looking forward to hiring Suhr Interior Design to help me with my next couple of projects.
