About Us
I moved to the western mountains of Franklin County, Maine from Connecticut in 1997. I then attended The University of Maine at Farmington where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science. Although I do have a love for science, I could not see myself stuck in a lab all day. I have always enjoyed working with my hands and creating something beautiful from scratch. I decided to pursue a career in the building trade. As the years passed, I started focusing on more intricate aspects of building such as cabinet design and finish carpentry.
Over the years, the process of building custom cabinets became a passion for me. I started soaking up knowledge by researching different styles and techniques of past and modern day cabinet making. I implement a combination of these methods in my work by creating classic cabinet styles with the efficiency of modern machinery.
I now reside in the rural town of Temple, Maine. I live here with my wife Meadow and my son Anders. My 30’x36’ wood shop is located at my home, right in my back yard, next to Drury Pond. For almost 10 years now, I have been here designing and building cabinets and various pieces of woodwork using native Maine hard and soft woods from the numerous wood mills in this area. I offer free estimates and design services to build your custom Maine kitchen, vanity, staircase, or library that will last a lifetime.
