Rylie Larimer - RJL Designs

RJL Designs is the perfect combination of design and craftsmanship. Rylie is small enough to work with you personally, but big enough to know all of the latest trends and score discounts on appliances, etc. Rylie is no yes man. He told us what will work and what might not. He used our ideas and helped us to improve upon them. Every single person that he hired was considerate, neat, and expert. Our brother-in-law is a professional carpenter and gave this project a 10 out of 10 for workmanship. Rylie is nice, honest, and talented. We have worked with Rylie Larimer of RJL Designs for a number of years. He has remodeled several rooms in our home. The most recent project involved remodeling the basement. He transformed our walls , replaced and upgraded the fireplace , installed a new entertainment center and remodeled the existing basement bathroom. Rylie was attentive to our needs throughout the project. Initially , he was prompt in providing us with a design and estimate. He allowed us to make changes to better suit our needs. During the project he kept us informed as to when workers would be on site and for how long. He worked with our sound guys for the entertainment center install. We are very happy with the final project. We find ourselves spending more time in this part of our home than we did previously. Rylie is a brilliant designer and an honest person to do business with. I have the utmost respect for he and his business, and I have no hesitation to provide him with my highest recommendation .

Excellent attention to details and customer satisfaction during design and construction. I love the renovated master bath and new gas fireplace. Everything was done to a high standard. I truly enjoyed working with Rylie and his crew.

We contracted with Rylie for a full kitchen and master bathroom/laundry room remodel. This project involved tearing out everything in these rooms and building back from scratch. Rylie's design was exactly what I wanted and he incorporated everything I asked for and more. The quality of the work is superb and I cannot say enough about his responsiveness. He was routinely onsite and supervising work. The finished product is a show-stopper, yet comfortable and homey. We love our new spaces!

Rylie was creative in getting us storage space in our new kitchen. His design ideas were fantastic from cabinets, counters, and appliances.

Rylie did our kitchen so we called him back for the bathroom. Rylie is friendly, trustworthy, and reliable, a true professional. But more than just professional he takes care of EVERYTHING during the project. We had a mishap with the plumbing. I called Rylie and within the hour he and the plumber were at our house, after 5pm dealing with the possible disaster. Rylie listened to our ideas about what we wanted and designed a luxurious spa like bathroom. His attention to detail was above our expectations. The professionals he hires are prompt, professional and courteous. We highly recommend Rylie for any home improvement projects. He is well worth the money for the peace of mind and stunning bathroom and kitchen we get to enjoy for the rest of our lives. Thank you Rylie

From start to finish on our kitchen and bath remodel was a great experience.! It turned as exactly as planned, and is beautiful! Rylie’s subs were friendly, courteous, respectful, and trustworthy. We are delighted with our new kitchen. Rylie helped us make the choices and then scheduled the necessary subcontractors to do the work. Each one excelled in what they did. They were timely, neat and did flawless work. Our kitchen has become a fun place to work in our house.

Our project was completed over 2 years ago. We were very happy with RJL Designs. He listened to what we wanted and never tried to talk us out of anything. What he did do was offer suggestions and maybe better ways to get the results we wanted. He hired excellent subcontractors, particularly The father-son team who did the tiling. We had heated floors installed in both bathrooms. After one year the one in the master bath stopped working. I worked with the tile subcontractor for several months with no results. I finally went to Rylie with the problem. Within days he had the tile taken up, a new heat mat laid down, and new tile installed. The bathroom is once again beautiful and warm. I am writing this review because I was so impressed with how fast Rylie got the job done. I wish I would have brought it to his attention sooner. I strongly reccommend RJL Designs for any remodelling project.

We were very pleased with RJL Designs. Rylie is dependable, meticulous, and was constantly checking in to make sure the project was running smoothly. He also has an eye for decorating and is a great communicator. Our new fireplaces, pantry, and butler’s pantry and flooring is beautiful! We highly recommend RJL with no reservations!

This project was very challenging due to restrictions and access in our condominium complex, but Rylie and his crew did a magnificent job.! They were extremely conscientious and flexible. Every obstacle was met with optimism and resulted in success. I am impressed with how quickly the project was completed. Every room in our home had work done to it. It was completed before schedule. Rylie was punctual and communicated with us about progress all along the way. The design and workmanship are beautiful. I’m very happy with the my newly remodeled home!

The coolest thing about our kitchen renovation is the reaction of friends, neighbors, workmen and family when they walk in the front door and stop, mouth falls open and they say “WOW”. We can’t thank Rylie and his seasoned group of incredibly talented, fun, friendly contractors enough. We found Riley to be a great communicator at all levels, with us, with all his sub-contractors and with the other construction companies that were needed to complete the renovation. All sub-contractors went out of their way to notice small things around the house that needed to be fixed and asked if we wanted them fixed. All workers were pleasant to be around and respected us and our home through the whole renovation process they never hesitated to help our 93 year old mother up or down stairs when needed. Work was completed on or before schedule, and within budget. We could tell Riley has been doing renovations for a long time and has worked with his team of people for a number of years. Everyone who worked here was professional, and they were good communicators and did quality work. Riley showed a genuine interest in our values around what “home” meant to us and worked to help us flesh out our design preferences and we felt we were very much a part of a “team effort” from the beginning. When our schedule had to shift due to a death in the family Riley was understanding and flexible. High standards were a part of the total process. You know when professionals in related fields make unsolicited glowing comments about Riley’s high standards that you’ve made the right choice. Our new kitchen is beautiful, functional and a delight to be in each and every day!
