During a significant remodel, Shades of Excellence was a breath of fresh air. Jackie is a fantastic designer and visionary for what YOU are looking for! No stressful upsells, just a logically, detail oriented approach for an aesthetically beautiful result. Looking for new blinds? Consider the electric! They are not significantly more expensive, however they are fantastic, sophisticated and a lovely contribution to large windows. If your looking for a company that pays attention to every detail, schedules and arrives on time, focuses on perfection, delivers over and above, and are lovely people to boot - SHADES OF ELEGANCE is a 10 out of 10!

Jackie came to our home and assisted us in figuring out the best solutions for providing shades. We had previously installed shades that did not work properly. Jackie resolved the situation and completely fixed all the issues (caused by another company), and ordered shades for our entire home. Everything functions properly and works together with all of our control systems. She went far above and beyond our expectations and worked beyond her scope of work to make sure all of our previous issues were resolved. The new shades she provided are perfect in every way and my wife and I are extremely happy with all that she did for us. Personally and professionally, I highly recommend Shades of Elegance. I would be proud to have her work for any of our friends or customers.

I have worked with Jackie and Shades of Elegance for over fifteen years, on projects both large and small. She has taken my ideas and translated them into a reality that is better than what I imagined. She has the knowledge and attention to detail that take a piece or treatment from good to "WOW!". Furthermore, she has worked tirelessly to find just the right fabric and fittings that make any piece extra special. We have worked with both large and tight budgets. On the larger design projects, she still worked to make the job come in under budget. For example, when we needed a special dimensions for counter stools, she found what we needed, fully customized in both height and fabric for $100/each! (The work was done and turned around in less than a week.) When working with a tight budget, her knowledge and hard work made the rooms look as special as the ones with a nearly unlimited budget - in high-quality and good time. I highly recommend Shades of Elegance and will work with Jackie on any future projects. When you work with her, you will not be disappointed.

Jackie is extremely knowledgeable and creative, she knows all about products and what's better, she excels at finding the right and affordable solution for your needs. So far, we have done plantation shutters in the front of our house and sun shades throughout our kitchen and skylights. There is no one I will work with besides Jackie! She's the best.
