About Us

JR DESIGNS is a small architectural practice run by Joanna Robinski that is committed to providing quality in all aspects of building design and documentation. Joanna is an experienced architect. She has been involved with all sizes of domestic alterations and additions, as well as new houses, childcare centres, industrial units, office fitouts and training facilities. In her spare time, she provides advisory work on planning matters for voluntary groups active in environmental issues.

Joanna has been outstanding in her determination to solve my house's cracking and damp problem. She is driven to thoroughly understand the problem and then find the right solution to fix the issues. I have been impressed by her ability to negotiate with the engineer, the builder and other tradespeople and at her persistence with the process to ensure a quality result. I'm delighted to have someone with such integrity and problem solving ability managing this...I know I'm in good hands. Joanna goes the extra mile.

We met with Joanna Robinski from JRdesign and we were impressed from the first instant. She has a warm and personable charm about her. Rare to find in an Architect who listens to not only design ideas, but also lifestyle and needs. She quickly realised that the plan was to be practical rather than 'artistic'. The time spent with her was precious.
