With Jeannette Salazar you get a combination of creativity and professionalism that started from a young age. Originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico, Jeannette was always immersing herself in art-driven and colorful activities. This creative instinct and passion for design eventually directed her to Albuquerque where she achieved her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interior Design from The Southwest University of Visual Arts and has remained in Albuquerque since. With over a decade of experience, Jeannette has collaborated on over 100 design and remodeling projects in and around the Albuquerque and Santa Fe area. She developed strong communication and project management skills amongst her colleagues, clients, and collaborating contractors. She is well-known in the Albuquerque remodeling and design community for her cheerful demeanor and her exceptional dexterity when it comes to space planning and highly detailed elevations and renderings. She has a vigorous passion for kitchen and bath restorations and is consistently setting a new standard for interior design in New Mexico. Jeannette also served on the New Mexico ASID Chapter Board from 2011-2014 as Communications Director and President. She continues to be an Allied Member of ASID and plans to be NCIDQ certified in the near future. Her professional experience combined with her innovative mindset allows her to create inspiring and captivating designs for every client. Her goal is to improve the world we live in, one beautiful room at a time!

Jeanette is the cats meow when it comes to design. I was beyond happy with the work she did in all three of our baths. To be able to take something so old and dated and truly create new unrecognizable spaces was amazing. I would highly recommend her if you’re even considering a remodel.

Jeannette was AMAZING! We had an idea of what we wanted for a kitchen remodel, but we did not know where to start. She was very professional and accommodating with our time as well as our requests, and came up with a stunning design that we fell in love with. The over project went very smoothly considering our house was built in the 1950's and had some small issues that arose along they way, but true to the day we met Jeannette she stayed confident and focused on the end result. She delivered everything we hoped for and we are more than pleased with Jeannette throughout the entire project. I can not recommend her enough!

Jeanette was recommended by the general contractor for our kitchen remodel. A contract was signed and she was paid 50% up front. Jeanette did an initial, preliminary design. She did not follow through finishing the design. She did not help to pick out materials. She did not offer price points for any of work. Post the original rough draft, Jeanette was completely unavailable. The minimal work she did provide took weeks to obtain and in the end we were forced to hire someone else. Total lack of response and professionalism. Keep your money and hire someone else!

Hello Elizabeth,

It is unfortunate to read your review and hear for the first time that you were not pleased with the services rendered for your kitchen remodel back in 2020. If you recall, you were provided with three layout options, revisions were made on the layout you chose, and you also received 3D images along with a video walkthrough. We made it all the way through finish selections, which was shared with your contractor so that he could have provided you with a proposal. My last conversation with you was in June of 2020 when you informed me that you were putting your project on hold. I was also in communication with your contractor at the time, and he also informed me that the project was on hold due to budgeting conflicts.

I was more than willing and happy to continue the process once you were ready to proceed. You nor the contractor reached out to me directly to inform me at any point that there were any issues, or that the project was to continue. If there was ever any frustrations on your part regarding the design process, I would have loved to have known or at least heard from you prior to this review.

We wanted to remodel our kitchen, and we are so glad we found Jeannette and her team. From start to finish (and it was a long time because we delayed things on our end due to the pandemic) Jeannette was prompt and professional, with great communication throughout. Her team who did the install were also top-notch professionals, showing up on time, keeping us in the loop, and being all-around perfectionists at their work product. I would definitely use Jeannette and her team in the future, and we give them our highest recommendation.

We hired Jeannette for a complete kitchen gut and remodel and we are so glad we did! We had plenty of ideas from Pinterest and watching HGTV but had no idea where to start or how to go about this huge project. She came in and looked at our kitchen, took measurements, talked about ideas and layout, then started bringing in samples of floors , cabinets , back splash etc. From designing the layout to being there for the cabinet and countertop installation she went above and beyond in making sure everything was done right and to our liking. We couldn’t imagine this kitchen coming out the way it did without her help. Jeannette went above and beyond numerous times throughout this project and we recommend her to anyone thinking about doing a renovation. Approximately 3 months ago my wife and I hired Jeannette to help design our new home construction. We met with her a couple of times, within a short period of time she understood our vision and had an initial design. She invited us to a studio where she had all the elements to complete our design.
