I was referred to Michael Mackin from a friend of mine that Michael performed design services previously. Upon my initial meeting it was very apparent that I was going to contract with Michael for the design of my house, in my initial meeting I had a picture of a house and a full page of items that were important to me. What struck me in that meeting I could tell Michael new that I wanted a completely different design but with the elements listed on my item list, three months and numerous meetings later Michael designed a one of a kind two story 9800 square foot custom home that integrated everything my wife and I presented in our initial meeting, but more importantly with his touch, design, creativity and updated interior trends. I would recommend Mackin Drafting and Design for any home construction design, regardless of size, type, remodel or new construction. In fact I have recommend Michael to numerous friends and they have told me he was exactly what they needed to bring their new home to reality.

I have worked with Mackin Designs on a number of custom home projects. Mike has a solid vision for design, along with an extensive understanding of structural framing. Very easy to work with on initial designs and through the construction process.

Mike has designed numerous projects for us over the years. He listens and incorporates your wishes into the drawings, along with working with you to maintain a budget. The drawings are accurate.

Mike was a pleasure to work with. We brought him our thoughts on a very spacious custom home and he helped make our dream come true. He was very professional and took our ideas into consideration while contributing his thoughts and ideas as well. Mike was always on time and was flexible with appointments.
