JBN designed and built the most beautiful mantel for my home. This took great talent and ingenuity since nothing was symmetrical around my fireplace. Jabian was so nice, thorough, a pleasure to work with, and a perfectionist. He worked many hours to install, having to tweak along the way because nothing was even on all sides. He didn't stop until it was perfect. I highly recommend JBN!

Earlier this year we purchased an insert for our fireplace and the original mantle was mounted too low for the insert specifications. We also wanted to improve the look and wanted it made of solid cherry. Fortunately we found Jabian who made a beautiful mantle finished and installed it perfectly. Jabian was extremely professional, easy to work with and took the time to understand exactly how we wanted the finished product to look. I live in an older home in a historic San Diego neighborhood. Jabian built and installed wainscoting in the entryway and around the stairwell of my home to match the original woodwork in the dining room. He knew exactly what would look best and helped me make decisions with the knowledge of a true craftsman without being pushy. The wainscoting looks beautiful and I couldn't be happier. Mr. Jabian Nimmo is an excellent finish carpenter. His project started with creating built in closets with two large eight foot shoe shelves that housed over 100 women shoes. The closet doors were louvered and automatic lights when the doors open. Mr. Nimmo was able to perfect match the motif of the house. He also created a built in T.V. closet with a "theater look" decor. He finished our wood trimmings around six ceiling skylight matching the existing wood design. He worked well with others, very conscientious as well as extremely creative. Mr. Nimmo has an excellent work ethic and we look forward to hiring him again in the future.

I am a General Contractor who hired JBN Woodcraft & Design to trim out the interior of a new house with extensive wood finishes. Not only is Jabian's work excellent, but his techniques also speak to his talent and expertise. I have used him on several other jobs since then and will continue to do so.

I cannot find enough good things to say about Jabian, he is an excellent wood worker. My husband and I did an extensive remodel on our home. We hired Jabian at first to do the molding and then realized how amazing his wood working is. He did the casements around our windows and some decorative moldings in the bathroom. But the most amazing thing he did was build us a fireplace mantel from a picture we had of one we liked. It came out so beautiful. This was not an easy thing to build and it came out perfect. Jabian is professional and also the nicest guy to work with. I highly recommend him.

This is the second job that I hired JBN Woodcraft & Design to complete. Jabian came to a house we were selling and worked to secure a large section of the handrail that had loosened up over the years of use. He installed new lag bolts, screws, and nails to secure. After it was secure, he plugged, re-caulked, and touched up the stain where required. Work was completed when scheduled and exceeded my expectation.

I have used Jabian for quite a few projects in the past during our previous complete home remodel. He is meticulous and has not disappointed in any of the projects. We just finished up wainscot and complete new base and crown throughout the new home and are completely satisfied with the work!
