About Us

Jason Agee Design is a full-service interior design firm based in New York City. Jason’s meticulous and thoughtful approach takes every client’s taste into account to create meaningful environments that fuse style and purpose. Guided by the belief that clients’ engagement in the process is pivotal to designing beautiful spaces they will love, Jason collaborates with each client extensively on every project. His eye for detail is evident in a wide range of projects he has completed in Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Hamptons, Westchester, New Jersey, Florida and California. Before launching his own firm in 2009, Jason received expert training under the guidance of Kenneth Alpert and Andrew Petronio at KA Design Group. His passion for design began with his studies at the Alliance Française in Paris and then the New School in New York. He earned his BA from Westminster College, Fulton, Missouri. A St. Louis native, Jason now lives in Brooklyn with his husband and two children.

Jason Agee Design LLc was recommended to me by my daughter. It was a pleasure to work with him. He has a terrific sense of style and of colors. No more boring off-white walls for me. He works within your budget and has wonderful ideas about how to place furniture in an apartment/home. I was using the living room furniture from my home in Scarsdale NY and he created a wonderful arrangement for my large living room. People think the living room is fabulous and assume I bought the furniture it fits so perfectly. I highly recommend Jason Agee Design LLC. Your will be thrilled with your results.

Jason is so knowledgeable. He helped my husband and I craft the absolute perfect living and dining room. He spent time getting to know our taste, so the end aesthetic was our own. And he also helped point out where we should put our personal preferences above all else - like noting the importance of comfortable furniture so we can read and relax, which is what we do often. His guidance in combing through all the fabric options and colors was invaluable. Our living room is now my zen palace and is probably my favorite room of any place I’ve ever lived.

I hired Jason to furnish/design our rental property last year. Not only is he a gifted designer, but he has a perfect way of maximizing your budget by mixing pieces to achieve your vision at various different price points. He has a vast knowledge of inventory and really knows how to pull it altogether. Furnishing / designing a home can be overwhelming but Jason made the process easy with his great attitude and complete professionalism. Not to mention, he has impeccable taste! I've recently purchased a new home and we are working together again on the next project.

Jason will transform your space to make it look AMAZING and also be completely practical and functional. He does not stop at the major pieces in a room but will attend to every detail from the smallest to the largest. He respects dollar limits and will also tell you if he thinks you are overspending on something that will not deliver value for the price. He is decisive, efficient with time, endlessly patient and pleasant, and simply has the world's most talented eye. He stands behind his work, and if there is ever a problem with anything he has sourced, he makes it right. In the end, anything Jason works on comes together with seeming ease and always looks magazine-ready. He is simply . . . the best.

I absolutely loved working with Jason on my Brooklyn apartment. He has such a fantastic and fresh eye, and he is a lot of fun to work with - warm, great sense of humor, and personable. I learned so much from his expertise, and he is a wiz with executing vision and ideas. His creativity and design style is like no other. He was even able to incorporate existing pieces I had and give them a 2nd life. From carpets, to paint color, to bedding, and furniture shopping, Jason gave his full attention to all the details, small and large! Jason and I are now embarking on our 2nd project together, a home upstate, and I'm really excited that he was able to take this project on!

Jason has excellent taste and did a fabulous job helping us design our new apartment. He has lots of great ideas on how best to utilize space and what types of furniture will be the most practical and worthwhile long term. He also was very helpful at interfacing with the stores we ordered from and handled issues when they arose with our purchases. We love our home and are really glad we had his help designing it.

Jason has a terrific eye and can envision a space in minutes. He is very respectful of a client's taste and budget. He guides the client but never imposes his taste on the client. He is also delightful to be with and is generous with his time. Jason has helped me with a number of renovations and I have always been very pleased. I have recommended him to to a number of my clients and they have been very pleased with his work.
