K construction is top notch, Jacob is customer oriented driven and a pleasure to work with. You’ll never wait for his return call as he is prompt and strives the meet your needs and expectations. Unlike the other contractors I called and asked for estimates and didn’t even come with a pad or pen Jacob was there on time, took all measurements discussed my project from start to finish and had drawings and a a detailed estimate for my project in 3 days. I walked into his showroom unannounced one day and was greeted and treated like a VIP even though I didn’t have an appointment. We went over the plans and picked flooring and cabinetry , tile etc that day and he adjusted the plans right there. K construction took care of all the permits and the final inspection without a hitch. I’d also like to say, Jacob is a gentleman who always is right there if there is an issue....he wants his customer to be totally satisfied and will go out of his way to ensure the job is done right. I’m a snow bird and it’s hard to find a quality contractor in Florida especially when your trying to do a remodel and living 1500 miles away. Just have to say that with K Construction you won’t have that worry. I highly recommend K Construction and Jacob for your next job.

2) I can honestly say that I would not consider hiring any contractor other than Jacobo Kligman and K construction and development for any remodeling project. I am more than satisfied with every aspect of their work. The crew works quickly and professionally, everyone is friendly, pleasant and easy to deal with, and the quality of the work is impeccable. For this project, Jacob tore down walls and created a gorgeous open floor plan kitchen, with a huge island, French exterior doors, and floor to ceiling custom-made cabinets. I absolutely love, love, love my newly remodeled kitchen and interior. Jacob was always available for questions at any time and communicated about what was happening every step of the way. K Construction is a top-notch professional, honest, reliable, trustworthy, economical, friendly company that creates meticulously beautiful remodeled interiors. This company is the best.

My wife and I just completed an extensive home remodel in Doral Florida. I called around to different general contractors and decided to go with complete home improvement. After living in several different homes I notice bad workmanship and I did not want to see that in my forever home. K Construction has great customer service. I was kept informed and given updates on the project. My remodel took a little longer than originally estimated but that is because after we started I decided to make some changes. Their workers are clean and do a decent job cleaning up after themselves. I was so impressed with how beautiful my home came out. They exceeded my expectations in every way. K Construction and Development aka The Kitchen Remodeling Co Owner Jacob Kligman AKA Jacobo Kligman The purpose of this review is to provide a detailed, fair and honest review of the service I received from Jacob Kligman and his remodeling company. I will highlight what he did right and what he did wrong. It is not meant to harm his reputation or future business, however an informed consumer can make their own decision whether to hire him or not. I hired Jacob to remodel my kitchen and master bed/bath for close to 100 thousand dollars. My experience with him and his company was exhausting, riddled with billing errors, charges for items not provided and extra charges never mentioned in the original contract. For starters the first estimate contained errors that amounted to thousands of dollars in overcharges. He did not provide proper supervision and did not take responsibility for mistakes along the way. He charged me for several large items which were broken or damaged by his crew. He also told us three months when the project took over a year. The cabinet installer was the worst. Unskilled and sloppy. He made several holes inside the cabinets trying to find the anchor points on the wall. Moldings and doors were misaligned and large gaps filled in with globs of caulk or not at all. Worst of all, he measured the space for the range hood too narrow and actually gouged out the cabinets to make it fit. This was fixed after he protested and tried to say I purchased the wrong size hood. Not what anyone should expect for the money Jacob charges. His crew had a few gems among them. Denis the tile installer is very talented and did a great job. The drywall work was excellent. Yvonne's design layout was on point. Some of his crew were sloppy, made a mess of my carport, did not cover for dust properly, piled garbage and food wrappings inside of my house which attracted rats. Jacob was very slow to respond to my concerns and a lot of the mess was cleaned up by me. His billing and invoice schedule was not as contracted or discussed. Some changes along the way were over billed, very difficult to follow and notice. I measured things myself only to find out he over billed me for plumbing. Many failed inspections led to unreasonable delays and significant increases in estimate. Jacob finally left the project when I demanded proof of these extra charges. He also refused to provide license information on some of his sub-contractors. Since he's left the project, I have had peeling paint, water leaks, loose plumbing fixtures and an electrical issue. Jacob has received other poor evaluations on Yelp, Houzz and other sites so I urge you to review these before making your decision to hire him. My evaluation is based on my experience with him and is factual backed up by dozens of pictures, videos, emails and texts. I have invoices from two other companies I had to hire to repair his shoddy work. He claims he gave me a good deal however, over a year of aggravation, overcharges and poor quality work is not a "good deal". I would not recommend him at all.

We have dealt with K Const for 12 years and they have completed several projects in our condo. We have always found K Const to be fairly priced, reliable, honest and capable for any job.

Jacob from K Construction facilitated a total renovation of a luxury ocean front condominium for our clients in Hallandale Beach , Florida. The entire project under Jacobs oversight of the construction scope of services exceeded expectations , Our firm was tasked with the interiors design finishes and K construction was responsible for the installation. At any time our firm needed to consult with Jacob he always made himself available to us. An interior design firm relies heavily on the expertise of the General Contractor to bring its vision to reality, K Construction did just that.

I have been working with K Construction for about a year and they are on the ball when it comes to getting the job done. It does not matter the obstacles in the way they get it done and with no shortcuts. I would recommend K Construction to who ever needs a good quality company. If you want good quality work this is the company you need.

Project began early Oct.'16 and finished Jan. 2017. New kitchen & 1300' of floor tile. If you hire Jacob Kligman (aka the kitchen remodeling co.), you will get a knowledgable owner and company that can do the job. But, if you expect your project to be done to your complete satisfaction, this company may not be for you. The most glaring deficiency: no project management. Here is a list of things that we were unhappy with: workers not showing up on appointed days, even the owner showing up almost two hours late for a meeting and not bothering to call. Inferior quality of some of the workmanship, i.e.- the cabinet installer, inaccurate trimming of interior door casings and thresholds by tile guys, installation of dishwasher and drain line issue, install quality of tile backsplash. To be fair, the floor tile installation and Kemper cabinets are amazing and most of my concerns were addressed.If you contract with K Construction, you can get a decent job done but just understand that you'll need to be on the company and the subs all the time to catch mistakes and to make sure you get what you want. Here's my answer for two questions: does the kitchen and floor look better that before? Absolutely. Would I use K construction again for another project? A firm maybe.
