Daniel Holloway is the director of dh Solar Engineering Ltd. He has been working in the renewable industry for over 20 years and is passionate about clean energy technologies. One of the many advantages of dealing with a small company is the personal service you will get from us. When you call us you will get us! We will put all our knowledge and enthusiasm into your design to make it suit your needs and those of our planet. Hence each design is unique and bespoke. We believe that clean and locally produced energy is necessary for us to live in harmony with our planet and we will provide systems that enable people, communities and businesses to do this. DH are expert, knowledgable and friendly. The solar heating system they installed looks great, was good value and all done on time. As an architect its great to meet other people passionate about their work and innovative in their solutions. I hope to have the opportunity to recommend them to clients again.

Daniel and Max fitted Solar Thermal Panels and Pellet stove, including installing whole central heating system. I'm very happy with how it is all working; only just Spring and the panels alone are heating enough water for a hot bath. Great service by dh engineering, from my initial enquiry, patience with extended deliberation answering queries without pressure, happy to explain how it all worked as it was installed. They are Craftsmen; designing an integrated system that suits my needs. Clean, tidy and respectful. Immediate response once installed while I was getting used to system and needed advice. And enjoyed their company around the house. Highly recommended.

dh Solar engineering installed a solar thermal heating system for us. We were given clear information/options beforehand and a detailed quote for the work to be done. Their experience and knowledge were invaluable to the project and the work was done when promised, on time and to the quoted cost. It was explained to us what they were doing and why at each step and when the work was done we were given a detailed explanation of the system. In addition to the installation of the solar system, they greatly simplified and improved our existing chaotic and somewhat dysfunctional heating system more generally. They are very friendly, hard-working and conscientious. Very highly recommended!

Daniel and Max designed and installed a new heating system for our house including a biomass boiler, solar thermal and woodburning stove as well as advising on insulation for the house. The design was carefully and thoroughly done and showed an excellent knowledge of renewable energy systems with attention to context, budget and deadlines. The installation was done promptly, with attention to detail, and to an excellent standard. Daniel and Max are extremely professional as well as being tidy and quiet on site, upholding an excellent client relationship.
