For over 28 years, Hofstetter Landscaping has provided complete landscaping design and build. From interlocking stone, walkways, patios and much more, we guarantee you will love the work we do! Rick Hofstetter left a lucrative career in the Gas industry to join his brother in the family business in 1986. Most of his training was acquired on-the-job and by extensive coursework through the paving stone manufacturers. Rick continues to upgrade his skills every year with the latest innovations from Unilock and Permacon. His success has been based on his honesty and commitment to excellence. Ashleigh MacDonald (Hofstetter) is one of the driving forces behind the Hofstetter Team!She has a background in sales, marketing and administration. Her expertise is customer relations – once you’ve talked to her on the phone or met her at a sales call you will find her enthusiasm contagious! She works alongside Rick to ensure the day-to-day operations of the business are running smoothly and according to plan.Her interest in softscape landscaping, plants, flowers and shrubs has enabled her to assist in the design of some of our landscaping projects. Ashleigh is hard working and very dedicated. We are pleased she is part of the Hofstetter family! We are very happy with our new stairs and retaining walls. The crew did a great job. Despite some unexpected problems it was done quickly due to the large and capable crew. Rick kept us informed throughout and was always available when we had concerns.

I highly recommend Hofstetter Landscaping. Rick and team did a great job on my backyard and I would definitely work with them again. Professional, experienced and friendly. Very customer focused and the results were beautiful. The team showed up on time and the project was completed on time and within budget.

Rick and his crew built an interlock patio for me many years ago. It completely complimented my home and the design he created was stunning. Rick does quality work. I know this because the deck he built 10 years ago is as stable as it was when he built it. I’ve seen many driveways, walkways patios in my neighbourhood that start to sag after a a short while. Rick designed the front walkway to our house and at the same time remedied a problem we were having with ponding of water against the foundation. The workmanship and quality of products is near flawless. We get compliments all the time on how fabulous it looks. We will definitely be calling Hofstetter Landscaping again for future projects which we have planned around our house.

I obtained 3 quotes to install a new back courtyard in my condo. A small job including 4 stairs and courtyard nestled in the centre of my floral garden. Rick Hofstetter was my first call and he had me at hello. Rick’s polite manner and problem solving skills put me at ease and made me feel special when he said no job is too small. Rick patiently measured the area and really listened to what I envisioned. He took the time and made 2 drawings and looked at different stone until we decided on the drawing and stone that fit my budget. Rick’s creativity, expertise and attention to detail and safety resulted in a win win solution for both of us. Ashleigh is the office manager and very professional at being the face to the customer. She is thorough, polite, personable, pays attention to detail, can answer all of your questions and follows up with her customers. The on site crew were fun, experienced professional and artists in their trade. They were constantly examining an re-examining their work making sure it was to the Hofstetter quality standard of excellence. They did a fantastic job. I have recommended Hofstetter Landscaping to family and friends. Thank you Hofstetter Landscaping!

We obtained 3 quotes to install a new back and side yard patio. Rick Hofstetter stood out over the other 2 contractors. He took the time to actually measure out the area for the patio and discuss what we wanted to achieve. Rick and his brother Ron bring experience, expertise , integrity to their projects. They also have a seasoned crew who know what to do and do a fantastic job. Ashleigh , who manages the office and liaises with the customers excels at what she does. We extended the size of our patios, changed out the decorative stone to patio stone under the concrete bench and added a waterfall at the end of the pool. The end results were amazing!! We have had so many compliments on our “new” backyard. Hofstetter Landscaping will be our go to for future projects. Deb

After we had some trees removed we had to refresh the front area of our house. Rick with his brother and his crew did good work with replacing our front deck, refreshing our parking pad area and leveling out a walkway. They replaced woodwork, put in new patio stones, relaid old stones, solved a water drainage issue and took pains to work with our limited budget. There was a delay in the middle of the job while our arborist had to remove some roots, and Rick was great about scheduling around it. He also advised us on ways to reduce costs ourselves. The result looks great, what a difference in the before and after.

Stephen Grove

We have hired Rick and Ron and his crew twice. The first time was 25 years ago to finish the interlocking driveway project that I started at that time but was unable to finish. Last Sept 2017 we hired Rick and Ron again to completely rebuild our old front porch that collapsed and to re-level and replace the old pavers with new more modern pavers. They were very professional, well organized, worked extremely hard with a great sense of humour and finished the job on time. I would definitely recommend them and would not hesitate to hire them again .
