We are unique in that we do our own remodeling work. We needed help, however, with our kitchen cabinets. They didn't hesitate to help us design and order cabinets. The attention to detail in Linda's design was fabulous. Everything went together on our installation, just like it should. She recommended different cabinet sizes and designs than we originally thought we wanted, and now that we have finished our installation, we are so glad she had that professional insight. Our kitchen is beautiful. Black walnut cabinets from Canyon Creek. Our previous experience with cabinets had been with big box retailers. Now that Hahka Kitchens has shown us what a professional kitchen store can do, we could never go back. Thanks, Randy and Linda.

We had a very difficult experience with this company. I would NOT recommend them at all. We started a major home renovation project with Hahka Kitchens but had to break away after the preliminary work -- permitting work/drafting/architectural work etc cost us 4X of what was initially estimated. When asked about why most work was going over budget Randy was very rude and condescending. He claimed that the estimates were a best guess - but their ‘best guess’ was way off-mark, at 1/4th of the actual expense! There was no communication from Hahka when the expenses were going over estimate, only final bills sent and payment seeked. With an already expensive project going over budget in the preliminary stage, it wasn’t working out with Hahka kitchens so we decided to part ways – we are so thankful for that decision! Our next contractor was much more transparent about the costs, more hands-on and kept us informed of any rising expenses. Many months into our renovation project with our new contractor, we discovered that there were glaring discrepancies in the architectural/drafting work Hahka kitchens did for us and submitted to the county for permits. Their architect never visited our site, all measurements for the plans were taken by Randy (owner of the business). Our approved permits had major measurement flaws as a result of which a door, interior wall, garage door and windows were significantly misaligned, by a few feet! We were shocked to find that the plans submitted to the county for approval, the work for which we paid many $$$$$ to Hahka Kitchens had such glaring discrepancies! We had to get that work redone by our new contractor, reach out to another architect as the original architect from Hahka kitchens was difficult to reach. When we reached out to Randy about these discrepancies in the plan his claim was that the new contractor is responsible for cross verifying the plan measurements before starting work, he was not at all apologetic about incorrect measurements in the plans drafted by Hahka! Our experience with this company was terrible, I would not recommend them to anyone! Avoid this business!

When you choose a contractor you are never quite sure what you are going to get...even with references. When I started my project I had three bids, one from a contractor I had used before. My decision to go with Hahka Builders, Inc. AKA Hahka Kitchens is the best decision that I could have ever made on this major project-Kitchen and Master Bath remodel. Here are the things that most impressed me: The initial plan was VERY detailed and included the items that I wanted addressed. This plan was developed as a result of many conversations with the designer and contractor. As a result, there were very few change orders. There was a start date and end date in the plan; with a one week adjustment the completion date was spot on! The designer, contractor, contractor's assistants, and subcontractors were timely, professional, respectful (especially of COVID precautions), efficient, cleaned up after the end of the day, fun, and extremely hard workers. I could not have had a better crew work with me. The key to a successful project is effective communication. The crew felt comfortable asking questions and letting me know the plan for the day/schedule. If I were fortunate enough to have another construction project I would not hesitate to hire Hahka again.

I had a general idea on a new bathroom and kitchen rebuild. They helped me with the details of my dreams. When I started this project, I had no idea how complicated all the detail was going to be. They gave me the kitchen of my dreams and were extremely considerate during the build.

I had a kitchen that was probably 30 years old and in desperate need of remodeling. I was hesitant to undertake such a large project, but Hahka Kitchens helped me every step of the way. Linda spent hours and hours designing my kitchen, with great attention to detail, which gave me confidence that my kitchen would look beautiful as well as function perfectly. Randy is an excellent contractor; he was responsible, reliable, very patient in responding to all my questions, and even finished the remodel about 2 weeks ahead of schedule! Randy's crew worked very hard, did high quality work, and were very accommodating and helpful (even down to the last detail like cleaning up at the end of each day). The result is a kitchen that I absolutely love! I couldn't be happier with their work, and I plan to use Hahka Kitchens in the future for remodeling my bathrooms. I highly recommend them to anyone - they do great work!

Randy and his team do amazing work!! It starts with their approach to design. They take the time upfront to deeply understand your design aspirations: your tastes, wish list items, and general budget fit. Then they measure and and recreate your spaces virtually, so they can overlay all kinds of different options and explore the space. During this process, we were impressed by the different ideas they brought to the table. And it was incredibly handy to be running the sessions in their showroom - where we could touch, and feel the products we were discussing. Their final designs incorporated things we had never considered to begin with, but made a massive difference in the final design. The execution phase was as good as it gets. Their approach is to ensure you feel as comfortable as possible - containing the mess, cleaning up daily, and keeping things generally as chaos-free as possible (which is hard!). Randy's team is highly skilled, polite, and professional - from rough carpentry all the way through finish work, we were impressed by the high level of craftsmanship, care, and attention to detail. I am a stickler for the small details, and really struggle to see any flaws in the finished product. Randy was very responsive and helpful throughout. In the face of any sort of obstacle, he would come on site to walk us through various options, and patiently talk through the pros and cons of critical decisions. I would highly recommend Randy, Linda, and the team they work with to anyone who asks. These guys are true professionals, who put in the time and care to produce high quality results.

My wife and I have a craftsman influenced house. In 2015-16 Hahka Kitchens (and Baths) remodeled our two bathrooms and captured the spirit of our house. The 30 year old kitchen was next and we continued with Hahka Kitchens for this project. The footprint did not change but appliances moved around and new cabinets were installed. What we really appreciated is when we asked for a design element that they had not done before, the answer was "Let's see what we can do." It worked and the Hahka team was engaging with us, on time at the house, and left a clean site when done. Remodeling can be many things, but for us with Hahka Kitchens, success and satisfaction was the overriding outcome.

Hahka Kitchens did a fabulous job with our kitchen and dining room renovation! We'd recommend them to anyone! Linda was super attentive to both our space and habits, and created a design plan that perfectly blends form, function, and aesthetics. Randy was on-hand throughout all stages of construction, and provided a seamless suite of in-house staff and subcontractors all of whom were highly professional, conscientious and dedicated to the very highest quality of work. They were all a pleasure to work with!

Randy Hahka and Hahka Kitchens are fantastic. Randy surrounds himself with great and knowledgeable co-workers and sub-contractors. He pays attention to the details, stays on schedule, communicates well. From start to finish he and his crew are a pleasure to work with!! And I now have the kitchen I have dreamed of for 10 years!!

Hahka Kitchens did a great job for us on a large, upscale kitchen remodel. Randy is a great contractor and the crew was equally great. They all had the attitude that things had to be right. And they saw that they were. That included intervening on a couple of occasions when vendors screwed up. Hahka goes above and beyond.

These words, and many more, describe the staff of HAHKA KITCHENS; from the many hours of planning ( our first ever kitchen remodel), to the actual approx. 90 day work window, this team performed and transformed our very tired tract-home cooking space into our warm, efficient, custom kitchen. Randy Hahka and his team just completed work on our kitchen and we could not be more happy. His planner Linda spent four multiple hour sessions on her computer with us planning every inch of our kitchen to maximize the space, efficiency and aesthetic of our kitchen. While the schedule of eight weeks Randy proposed seemed long at first, in the end it was realistic and he was able to keep to it, even though a flooring contractor we had hired separately caused delays. The result is a kitchen that is all we had hoped for and which invites us to linger on for more conversation, even when the meal is over. You might pay less at a warehouse store, but in terms of design, quality and convenience, you are not going to do any better than Hahka Kitchens.

My first remodel project - a total kitchen remodel by Hahka Kitchens - was a complete success. Designer Linda worked with my ideas, and using her expertise made use of every inch of my very small space, while somehow actually making the finished room feel larger and more spacious. Owner/contractor Randy Hahka provided a detailed timeline as well as an itemized cost breakdown, and finished within budget and on schedule. Randy kept me advised of progress, and both he and Linda patiently addressed each of my concerns throughout the project. His workers were consistently professional and courteous, and their work was of the highest quality. I was delighted with the process, and am delighted with the finished product!

After talking to friends who recommended Hahka Kitchens I decided to contact them about remodeling our kitchen. The existing kitchen was totally demolished and enlarged, leaving an unusual configuration and special challenges. Linda Williams and Randy Hahka spent hours and hours at the house and on the computer planning and designing this irregular space. Randy was often on the scene making helpful suggestions and giving professional advice, such as adding skylights and determining lighting placement. He spent a day with chalk and tape measure outlining the island on the floor. He worked it and reworked it until it was just right. I was amazed at the personal attention and professional commitment we received. There were some problems when the cabinets were installed, but Hahka Kitchens stood behind their work and made sure all problems were rectified. They are a friendly, responsive, creative and professional team and I would definitely use them again.

I cannot speak highly enough about Randy Hahka and his team! We had Randy work on our home three different times and each time was a pleasure! Whether it was the small, medium or large job (which was the addition to our home), Randy and his men were always cheerful, always performed the job within the projected time frame, and never went over budget. As far as I'm concerned, you can't go wrong hiring Hahka Kitchens.

Randy and his crew simultaneously did 2 additions on our home: a new dining room and a new bedroom/bathroom. The crew was polite and efficient and the workmanship was top notch. We were especially impressed how Randy was able to incorporate all of our visions for these new rooms while improving on our amateur planning!

Randy Hanka really listened to what our remodel needs were. He asked what our budget was right off the bat so we'd all be clear on costs and quality. His and his designer, Linda's suggestions were great and were easy to collaborate with. His workers showed up on time and we hugely appreciated how neat they left the place at the end of the day. I highly recommend them for the quality of their work and for the fact that Randy always has a smile on his face!

Ktichen renovation. First experience with remodeling. The Hahka team were professional and supportive. Designer Linda Billings was extremely accessible and helpful. Her suggestion to incorporate an island with the character of furniture is the statement piece that adds the "wow" factor to our kitchen. General contractor Randy Hahka very clearly has a personal interest in quality work. He strongly lobbied for the replacement of louvered pantry and laundry doors with doors that more closely matched the new cabinetry-although more costly, this was definitely the right decision from a design perspective. The construction team were skillful, friendly, honest and easy to work with. We did have a few whoopsies, but I understand this is par for the course with renovation projects and at the end, nothing was left unresolved. The team very clearly made great efforts to provide customer satisfaction. Job was not completed on time, mainly due to issues with pantry/laundry doors. Very happy with the results of our project.
