As a trade professional with Apropos Design I have found Holly to be very knowledgeable in her varied fields of expertise. She is a people person and knows her business inside out! She has a great design sense and will work with a client to get them the biggest bang for the buck. Everyone has a budget - they don't always know what it is though. Holly helps you through all those steps going the extra mile to see that your completed job is beyond your expectations!

We had a difficult issue with a partial redesign to match some existing cabinets which required custom parts and materials The new cabinets matched perfectly and were installed in a very short time window. Could not be more pleased with the result.

Holly Emrick is widely traveled and has had many careers, but has truly found her niche as a designer. Through Apropos Design / Green Home Design Source, she expresses her creativity and helps clients achieve their dreams. She is completely down-to-earth and extremely patient, never resting until the client is happy. Her ability to source unique materials and products ensures that her projects have a stamp of originality. Every architect, contractor and vendor she works with is always happy to recommend her, and those types of solid working relationships speak volumes.

I hired Holly for a kitchen and master bathroom remodel. Both were very outdated. Holly provided us with many design options at various price points. What I like most about working with Holly is that she provides so many different options to choose from allowing us to make the choice of what we want to spend. This way is much more affordable than working with a designer associated with a store or one that orders exclusively from trade sources. I also love Holly's sense of style and find it similar to my own which makes working with her a no-brainer for me. We plan on using Holly's services when we make our next home purchase.

Holly with Apropos is an excellent interior designer. She has great creative solutions to all interior design challenges. She is fun to work with and always has a pleasant attitude. As a cabinet/furniture maker I really enjoy working with her to fulfill her clients goals. I will continue to refer my prospective cabinet clients to Holly for design work.

Holly is a professional who treats her clients as if they were the only ones she is dealing with. She is totally present with the project and insures the best quality at a very reasonable price. She goes out of her way to research the finest products that are available. I love our remodel and would highly recommend Apropos to my family and friends.
