Customer service is nonexistent BUYER BEWARE We Started our project with GWB in October of 2019, ya that's right 2019 After SO many problems with engineers (who by the way you can't speak with) we finally received plans in 2021. They have pushed us back and pushed us back. Finally received, in writing, that we will have steel on the ground in February. Yep, 3 years and 2 months. Not a good company to deal with. Please read to the end… February 17, after being pushed back on the 16 to March 18, AGAIN WITH NO REASON WHY, we contacted our project manager and asked if they would drill out anchor bolt holes to accommodate 1” j bolts. He called us back with “good news,” he had spoke with Tyler Doty and Eric Beavers who had told him they would be happy to do this change IF I CHANED MY REVIEW TO A FIVE STAR REVIEW! That won’t happen February 21, I received a call from a different project manager stating that their engineer didn’t recommend to drill out hole’s because Of the cost and timeline. Hmmm, was it just 4 days earlier that we were told no problem IF I CHANGED MY REVIEW. Oh Also received another call after this call from the logistics people today, they pushed us back 2 more days, fabrication March 20. Great Western Building just do your job and deliver my product. After 3 years and 4 months save some face and do what you promised us in October of 2019. NO MORE EXCUSES

After researching and interviewing multiple steel companies we chose GWB. We have found GWB to be wonderfully communicative about all parts of the process. We had several in office meetings with them before going to contract. Whenever we call to the office they answer their phones or return our call almost immediately. Robert and Mike have been extremely clear at explaining the process and how it all works They have made us aware of expectations regarding our part in the process. We work together as a team. When GWB needs information from us then we get it to them that same day or within a few days to keep the process moving along. We were promised delivery in April and so far everything is on track. The manufacturing office calls us every 2 weeks with updates. We are in the middle of our process now and have been so very happy with GWB, their staff, and their communications.

DO NOT USE!!! The problems started during the scheduling, delivery, and payment of our pre-engineered building. They called and confirmed the building fabrication was completed and scheduled to ship on a certain date, however, one week passed and I received a call saying the building was not in fact in fabrication and shipment was going to be another 6 weeks out. We had to pay them in full in order to receive the building. We thought that was the worst of it, but we were wrong... The building finally arrived with several missing key components to the building which included window girts, wall panels, and trim. When we expressed our concern for the missing components, their first response was "oh we knew those parts were missing, but someone should have noted that and told you." No ownership or apology was given. Then they said the soonest they could get replacement parts to us was 2 weeks, all the while having some replacement parts at their shop in Grand Junction but weren't willing to send them to us. So we were forced to pay our employee to drive 8 hours to get the first round of missing parts with zero reimbursement or offer to help. For the remaining missing parts we did not have 2 weeks to waste as we had an erector on site, so we were proactive and sourced parts locally that we had to pay for on our own dime. The total costs of all the missing parts totaled around $5,000. When bringing this to the Owner, VP, Project Manager, and Customer Service rep all were non-responsive after numerous calls to everyone we could find numbers for online. No calls were ever returned to this date. All we really wanted was to have a civil phone call to discuss the issues and to see what they were willing to do to help make it right with us and avoid others from getting scammed.

The people are nice and the price was very reasonable. However I was told that they had a 6 month lead time for new buildings which was longer than any other quote I received. But after putting my deposit down I was told a year! They do not seem willing to address this. Just some conversations and excuses about the delays because they have just sold so many buildings. This company has not dealt with the growth of their solution. Very disappointed that I sit here waiting with no progress to move my business forward. I would not recommend them based on this fact alone.

Overall my experience with Great Western Building Systems has been excellent. Everyone that I have worked with has been very knowledgeable, polite, and very easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. I intend to contact GW Buildings for my next project.

Dishonest sales people, I put down a deposit thinking the building came with doors and windows like the sales person told me it did. Stopped the Order but can't get my deposit back from them of 5500. If the sales person says they have a pre designed building and they can get it at a discounted price be Weary.

I'm love my barn. They helped me with the design, erected it, and did a safe and quality job. No leaks and a very fair price. I couldn't recommend them enough. 10 stars out of five.
