About Us

Jim Graham and Brett Baba, professional colleagues and longtime friends, teamed up in 2006 to form Graham Baba Architects. They have since left their mark on a growing number of local projects and in 2011, they were recognized as some of Seattle’s Most Influential People by Seattle Magazine. The Graham Baba team is driven by thoughtful creativity and collaboration celebrating the existing qualities of a space.

What can we say about Graham Baba Architects that their exceptional architecture doesn't already say for itself?! We love working with this fellow Seattle firm because we know our products are going to look gorgeous and whatever the project, it is going to be award winning. From their Beck House Residence to the 325 Westlake Mixed Use (MadArt) to our globally sensational new Starbucks Reserve Roastery & Tasting Room on Capitol Hill, Graham Baba continues to lead the industry in design and preservation.

Commented: what type of brick was usedHi Alex! The brick used was a roman brick from Mutual Materials. We got lucky - the only color they still made at the time matched the color of the original house, which was built in 1939.
