About Us

Laura Grad has been a design and management professional for over 20 years. Prior to starting her own company, Laura held various positions in regional management for one of the nation's largest home builders. Her responsibilities have included the model merchandising of hundreds of model homes as well as the design and management of large builder design centers. She has earned degrees from both the Interior Designers Institute in Newport Beach, CA and California State University Northridge. Laura's expertise includes the ability to implement creative design solutions for any budget in a coordinated, efficient, manner making the process as smooth as possible for the client. She is passionate about design and creating beautiful, functional living and working environments.

We just finished a major house redesign and remodel with Laura Grad of Grad Design and Consulting. We are so pleased with the results and can't say enough wonderful things about our experience. Laura is easy to work with, detailed, creative and conscientious of our budget. We couldn't have done our remodel without her and would love to work with her again! She came up with such beautiful and creative solutions for our design problems.

Laura helped us with a design for a remodel of our kitchen. Before we could do the remodel, we had a problem with our master bath which Laura helped us do. She helped with everything from the design to picking products. We would not have been able to complete the remodel without Laura's help. She is a skilled and knowledgeable expert in design. Laura is good at meeting deadlines. She knew we were on a deadline because of a planned vacation so she did whatever she had to to get the job done.

We had been thinking about remodeling our kitchen for sometime. We had even begun looking for new cabinets and countertops on our own. We quickly got overwhelmed and decided to enlist Laura’s help, and we are so glad that we did. Laura laid out the process and helped with every step from beginning to end. She designed a new kitchen layout and helped us with selection of all products, materials, finishes and colors. She stayed involved throughout the construction process, giving us peace of mind that everything was on track. Her experience was extremely evident in the way she foresaw problems and solved them before they became issues. Laura was great in helping me with my remodel. I started down the path of trying to pick everything myself and quickly realized that i was going to not make good choices. Laura was very instrumental in helping me pick colors for all the finishes all over my house. And it all came together wonderfully and turned out amazing. I kept my downstairs floors which were a bit dated, but with the right color matching, it fit right into the whole house look. Thanks Laura for making my remodel a success!

One of the wisest decisions we made was to enlist Laura’s help with our remodel. She came highly recommended to us by an acquaintance who was very pleased with her work. When we started what was to be a simple remodel and it grew to include all rooms, we quickly became fairly lost on how to update our outdated décor to a more modern and congruent look throughout the house. We had the added challenges of working on a budget and also integrating the new décor with some existing furniture which we wanted to keep. Laura walked us through the process of accomplishing these goals, giving excellent color and design advice throughout the house. Our remodel has come together so beautifully and we owe much of the success directly to Laura’s professional guidance.
