Do NOT hire this company for any concrete needs. The entire process from when our project was supposed to happen, to the final result, and everything in between, was a terrible experience. So much money wasted. First, they continued to push our project back, without even informing us. We had to constantly follow up and ask when our concrete resurfacing would take place. They got the owner involved and I was told we are their "first priority" and they would be out the following week. What was supposed to be a TWO day project (so we were told from the original estimate), took SEVEN days. Forcing us to push back other contractors coming to our house. Not to mention, what we were told was part of our estimate, did not actually include all parts of the project. It would be an additional couple hundred dollars, even though Graham told us the day of the estimate, it was part of the quote.
Once they finally started on our patio resurfacing, they "finished" it on a Friday, and left it the entire weekend with no sealant on it. During the weekend, multiple stains appeared on it. Apparently, it is not standard protocol for them to "repair" these stains, but did not communicate that to us and they "patched" them up on Monday (I asked for the stains to be fixed before the sealant was put on...but no one communicated that they don't do this, for various reasons). Their patch job was absolutely horrible. Various shades of colors that do not match the rest of the concrete. It literally looks like dark gray footprints throughout our patio. We expressed our concerns, multiple times, to the owner and son, about how terrible it looks and we are not happy at all. By their communications, they clearly did not care how we felt because to them, "they completed their contract".
I proceeded to ask the son if he would post pictures of our project on their website, or if he would be happy with this patio in his backyard. Both questions, he gave roundabout answers. Proving my point as to how terrible of a job they did. Even he doesn't want pictures of it on their website to show clients what their projects REALLY turn out to be. When I asked how they would fix this, he said to give it 5 days for the spots to lighten. It's been well past 5 days, and nothing has changed. The entire patio looks way worse. Even dirt from the yard stains it.
I again asked what they would do to fix their terrible job, and the son said they could come back and patch again, but that the color would probably be the same. So how is that even a viable solution? He then said "$100 discount". HAH! Are you kidding?! I have multiple phone conversations with the son recorded and would be happy to share with anyone who would like to hear how rude and awful their customer service is. They do not care about their clients. The way he talked to me, proves that. He even hung up on me on one of the calls.
We ended up with a $300 discount, from the father/owner. Still, not worth it for how awful our patio looks. We now have to hire another company, and spend thousands of dollars more, to fix their horrible job, or we have to paint the patio. Gaddis & Son should be doing whatever they have to do in their power, to have happy clients, who refer them to others. They do not know what good customer service is, nor do they know how to resurface concrete.
I would not recommend this company to anyone. Do not waste a minute of your time, or a penny from your wallet on them.
