About Us

Owners, Tim and Heather Grey, have combined their talents of interior and exterior design to offer comprehensive design services to the Southwest Florida market. Heather brings over 15 years of experience in both high end residential and award winning commercial design to G2 Studios. She is an Alumni of the University of Florida, with a degree in Interior Design and is a Florida Registered Interior Designer. Heather provides strong leadership not only in design, but in master planning, budgeting, scheduling and project management. While Heather offers services to home and business owners, she often teams up with Architects and Builders to bring value and innovation to their projects. Tim, also a University of Florida Alumni, earned a degree in Landscape Architecture and holds a State Certified Commercial Pool Contractors License. He founded G2 Studios in 2010 after co-owning SDG Landscape Architects from 2001-2010. Tim’s focus was to expand into the design-build market with G2 Studios providing design services and G2 Aquatics, Inc. providing all construction and consultation services. This allows him to focus on the construction of exterior spaces designed by G2 Studios as well as other Naples area Landscape Architects.

A complete redo of our 15 year old pool. Planning and execution of the job was terrific. G2 added value by suggesting materials, features, and components that I never would have thought of. The work crew was trustworthy and communicated their progress clearly throughout the project.

I usually hate working with contractors, but It was a pleasure with Tim Grey & G2 Aquatics. I had my pool & yard completely renovated. Tim Grey acted as general contractor for lights, landscaping, fire bowls, tile, pavers, pool equipment, just everything. They worked on it in the off season when I wasn’t there & was kept informed of progress in writing & pictures. If anything went wrong, which wasn’t often, Tim Grey was on it immediately. Phone calls were always answered & returned promptly! I highly recommend!

Tim is extremely knowledgable and responsive. He walked in to our pool project, after the original builder had created a complete disaster of our back yard then walked off the job, and seamlessly finished the project with zero issues. Tim is extremely professional and detail oriented, along with being very progressive in his design ideas. He follows up on any and all requests and treats his clients with utmost respect, which has restored our faith in the pool building industry.

We interviewed several contractors to remodel our pool and deck area. Tim Grey, of G2 Aquatics, Inc., completed our renovation. His work ethic is outstanding and the projected timeline for project completion was very timely. Tim made excellent suggestions for materials and design, was professional and courteous and has always been responsive and available to answer questions and deal with problems. We would recommend Tim Grey without reservation.

Tim and G2 Studio's is one of the most respectable and talented Landscape and Pool Contractors that I have worked with. His attention to functional layout and design detail will take your design well past your initial intent with a project. We have completed several projects together over the last 3 years and our budgets have always been met and sometimes reduced, due to the the knowledge of materials and solutions required to create features that would otherwise scare and cost much more from others that do not have the knowledge that Tim brings to a project. I hired Gerard Land Aquatic/G2 Studios to do a complete make-over of my pool (pebbling, tile etc.) and the entire flooring of my lanai. In addition, they installed a new pool heater and an automatic pool fill system. Everything about this experience was superb. They told me what they were going to do. They did exactly what they said they would do. And, they completed the job on time at the quoted price. Also, the quality of materials they provided, their professionalism and workmanship exceeded my expectations. Wow! This is the true definition of value. Tim Grey and his crew are the best. I would hire this firm again and again whenever I needed to have any type of pool related project completed.

G2 did a large project for us in 2013 and we were very happy with the end result. We went into the project with high expectations, but having been burned on other projects by sub-par performance and results, we were not sure what to expect. We asked G2 to do a creative design for the backyard, to include a pool and landscaping, but wanted a plan that would maximize the limited space. They listened...and the design they created was flawless--with details that included beautiful lighting, a deck with an exotic, sustainable wood that we love and an amazing saltwater pool. We asked G2 to work with an artist friend to incorporate a mosaic into the design of the pool and they not only did that, but highlighted it with a gorgeous waterfall and lighting. We are very happy with our backyard and have already engaged G2 for a design project for our front entry and pond.

As CEO of an international company with multiple private residences, our standards were high for this project and every challenge met with enthusiasm, creative options and cost effectiveness.
