I am another custom stair builder from Ohio (USA) who had the pleasure of meeting Craig (owner of Fancy Stairs and Railings) while at a professional meeting in Seattle. After spending 2 days with this gentleman, it became very apparent that he "knows his stuff" and he is very easy to talk with and has great ideas of how to make custom stairs work in unusual applications.
