As a designer and craftsman of custom shutters for more than 20 years, there is no project beyond his expertise. "I was never interested in becoming the biggest shutter company, just the best that I possibly could be. My philosophy is to educate each client and never try to 'sell' anyone my products. My clients can tell you, there are very distinct differences between the companies within this industry. That's why I still meet personally with so many of my clients to this day." With a BFA in design, Tiffany brings more than 20 years of experience in design to Elite clients. Her gentle and warm personality puts our clients at ease and her professional design capabilities supports our clients in creating the perfect fit for their home. "I love working with my clients to help them to create the right atmosphere for their home. My philosophy is to listen first, then offer what my clients need, not what I want to 'sell'. Joe (Sales) and Chris (Install) did a wonderful job. The finished product turn out better than I imagined. They cleaned up and put everything back in it's place. Tiffany spent 2 hours at my new home explaining all the options. I was going to just install plantation shutters in the main living areas and wait to install roman shades in the bedrooms at a later date. She was so thorough and her products were so exceptional that I had her do the entire house at the same time. Chris, the installer, could not have been more professional. The installation went beautifully and he took the time to explain how to work the shutters and shades. I could not be more pleased with this company. Their prices are excellent too.

We interviewed three different shutter providers to manufacture and install new shutters on the exterior of our home. We chose Elite to construct and install interior plantation shutters for all of our home's windows after carefully researching not only what makes one shutter superior to another, but also on the quality of installation, warranty, and customer service after-the-fact. We had the plantation shutters installed over the span of several months, one large section at a time. We absolutely love them. Our interior has been transformed and curbside appeal enriched. We recently hosted a holiday party and were proud to have people in our home. Within the next year, we will install new patio doors and will have Elite custom design shutters for those, as well. We are lucky to have this company in our area and recommend them to anyone wanting very high-quality and dependable shutters and blinds.

We needed to protect our windows from stray golf balls. Fortunately, we contacted Elite Shutters and spoke with Darrel. Within a week Darrel arrived at our home with several recommendations. Darrel was very knowledgeable of all of the shutters and therefore was able to address all of our questions and concerns. After making our selection, Darrel quickly measured our windows (accurately), and ordered the shutters. We received the shutters within 4-5 weeks. Darrel and crew was able to install all of the shutters within 4-5 hours. Throughout the entire transaction, Darrel was very professional and ensured that everything met or exceeded our expectations. We how have golf ball proof windows and have received numerous compliments. I highly recommend that you consider Darrel and Elite Shutters.

After a botched shutter job with another company, Darrell/Elite Shutters & Blind was hired to remove and replace the other shutters. The service received was impeccable. I would hire him again in a second. He steered the design in the right direction to enhance the open floor plan of the home, he removed the old shutters with care and installed the new ones ordered through him in a quick, efficient, professional and clean manner. His workmanship is wonderful and the quality of the wood shutters themselves is great.

I have a 7000 sqft home in SC and contacted Elite Shutters and Blinds during our renovation. They were prompt and courteous during the initial exterior shutter proposal. Although I had a "plan" they were able to discuss other more feasible options and break out pricing (front and back) in order to fit my budget. Elite color matched the shutters with the exact brand and color of paint. The turnaround on my particular project was 4 weeks and the delivery was right on time. Installation took one afternoon and our home looks outstanding. Money well spent. No problems. Incredibly pleased with their expertise and recommendations for our style of home. Quick and easy.

I used Elite Shutters two years ago when they did every window in my house in Georgia. It was a large job and they looked after every detail. Darrell Dean was a delight to work with! He offered many helpful suggestions and he knew his product line very well. At the end of the day, however, he was sensitive to my desires and worked hard to meet them. I could find no fault with his work. Their products are first rate. Better quality that anything else I have found. When I sold my house in Georgia, the quality of their work was a real selling point. I have recently moved to Tennessee and my house is being remodeled. Elite Shutters came and installed new shutters for about half of the windows and will return to complete the rest when the contractors are finished. Again, Darrell did an outstanding job with design, construction, and installation. At this point I can't imagine using another company. I would recommend Darrell Dean and Elite Shutters to anyone. They are absolutely outstanding!

Elite Shutters has done work for us in our home over a period of several years – through multiple renovation phases (currently doing a project for us). The service provided with design through installation has been excellent and continues to serve us well. Most recently we asked Elite Shutters to do a custom job for us in another state and the service provided was excellent. Everything arrived as promised and was installed without difficulty. The peace of mind gained knowing a job will be done properly is invaluable since time is our greatest asset. We are pleased give Elite Shutters our highest recommendation.
