ECO MECH removed and replaced our AC Coil from our 2.5 ton Lennox unit in the attic. I had called Tim Uzar on a Friday about the problem and he came out that day, generated an estimate and on Tuesday the work was complete. Tim and his team were very experienced, knowledgable, and extremely honest. That is very rare to find these days. We were so blessed to have ECO MECH complete this work for us. EcoMech are by far the most professional heating and a/c company I've ever dealt with. I had a "reputable company" install an a/c system in my basement 10 years ago after we finished it. As it turned out, they put in a very inefficient, builder grade system that gave us nothing but trouble the entire time. Our usual a/c guy gave us a quote for $3500 to replace the system, but was essentially only going to replace the outside unit and pull out the evaporator coil from the crappy inside unit. EcoMech came highly recommended by a number of people and gave me a quote that was only about $300 higher than my regular a/c guy. Here was the difference and what impressed me.. They were going to put in a 15 seer Trane XR system and completely replace the inside unit/cabinet with something considerably better than the rusted out thing I had. I happily signed the agreement and Martin and Mark showed up on time and prepared. They put down drop cloths on my carpet and were done by early afternoon. Here's why I would highly recommend these guys: First of all they're honest and take an enormous amount of pride in their work. More than just about anyone I've used before. A lot of companies I've dealt with over the years just want the job and will quote you a low price just to get in and out. EcoMech make a point of doing it right the first time. They may be a couple of hundred dollars or so over some of the other guys, but they also won't put in a crappy system that'll start leaking in 2 years either. They also stand behind their work, which is a big deal to me. Secondly, they do a really good job. The outside unit I had, was precariously perched on a plastic pad that wasn't even level. They re-did the whole pad (even putting cement blocks down). After they were done, everything was explained and I was told to call if I needed anything or had any more questions. This is a system and a company I should have had in the first place. I would have saved myself such huge headaches and a ton of money on service calls and repairs. A++

Tim was referred to me by James Cook, Geoloop Georgia, another pioner in this energy efficiency industry. I wanted a specialist who understood water source heat pumps. Tim installed a replacement airhandler for my 16 year old geothermal heat pump. He was very professional and easy to work with. He followed up on the install by his crew at my site and reported to me by email as I was travelling out of town. The contracting agreements were straight forward and the work was performed in a timely workman like manner. I am completely satisfied with my relationship with Tim Usar and would recommend him to everyone.

EcoMech installed our Geothermal 4 years ago, we have not had one problem, the thing is a rock. They explained it very well and came in under budget. We also installed an electric hot water heater and a Water Furnace pool heater. Tim also put in a well for the yard and filling the pool. Our water bill is tiny and grass is always bright green, the ppol is warm around 88-90 all summer. We save on electric, gas and water all total an average of $500 a month. We have had some questions and get called back right away even after 4 years. I can't say enough to about EcoMech. The guys are off the charts in service and designed a great system. When we explain what did to visitors, they are amazed.

Tim is very knowledgeable about energy efficiency and everything related. Perhaps more importantly, he knows how to communicate that knowledge to a layman and he is patient, kind, and consistent in his methods. On more than one occasion Tim has helped break down a relatively complex issue so that I could understand and make decisions. Basically, his a very likable guy who is an expert in his field.
