James with hand rail division. James came to redo our deck stair rail. He was such a delightful worker. He was a superb worker with such knowledge on our repair. I am so grateful for his professionalism, work ethic and knowledge. I am very pleased and would recommend James as your person to repair your fencing.

Just had 300' of fence replaced...had two workers, who were very professional and had job done in 2 days.....Everything is perfect so far....don't know why other customers are so unhappy....I'd recommend them without hesitation....they beat the hell out of Mills price...Oh Well.. Thank ya Chris from Eads...

Their service is poor. They took forever to install my fence and my gate lasted 9 months. They take no responsibility

Title: Rude , Subpar Experience, and Long Delays Bottom line: Eads Fence delayed installing the fence for over 6 months, broke two underground pipes costing over $500 in damage, and on top of all of that, was extremely rude. We contacted Eads Fence in October 2020 and a salesperson named Brian L. schmoozed us into putting half the payment down for a fence. At first Brian was nice, helpful, and responsive. And we were fully aware that the Eads was busy and would not be able to install the fence until December. However, we did not hear back from Eads until February 2021. Brian’s responsiveness was spotty and abrupt whenever he communicated with us. When Eads finally sent fence installers, the two men broke two underground pipes while digging. They were rude, unapologetic, and unsympathetic, saying, “you’ll have to fix the pipes we broke.” And then they just left. They left all the expensive fencing material on the ground, broke our pipes, spit chewing tobacco all over our the yard. Worse of all, Brian could not care less and almost made it seem that we were at fault. He said, “you should’ve told us there were pipes underground. You need to fix it, otherwise we can just cancel the whole order but we won’t refund you any of your previous payments.” But he had never asked us to mark where the pipes were (which we would have been happy to do). When I called the plumber to urgently fix the broken pipes, I was quoted about $550 to fix Eads’ damage. In what world do you blame a client after you took my deposit, delayed a job for 6 months, broke my pipes costing $550 in damage, left my backyard wrecked, and then were so rude to me over the phone? A month later, after we fixed the pipes, they came back to complete the fence and after several phone calls to Brian’s boss, we were given a $250 discount to help pay for half of the damage and to try to cover up for Brian’s rude behavior. I realize the company has been around for many years, but they need to treat their clients with some decency and empathy, and pay closer attention to detail before destroying someone’s backyard and causing hundreds of dollars in damage.

Eads installed a fence in 2015 , which cost over $22,000. The fence itself was installed okay. However, the gate and opener that Eads installed had a many malfunctions and although there were multiple service calls, it never was fixed properly. Note: I found out later that installing a $12 part at time of install or after the gate malfunctioned the first time would have solved the problem. Instead, months later a windstorm blew open the gate in the opposite direction causing the opener (motor) to permanently malfunction and break. Being a business owner and in the service industry myself, I assumed because of the inadequacy of multiple repair attempts, that this should be covered under warranty. After some thought, I have decided to take the high road and pay the bill, but I will never use them or recommend Eads to anyone for any service. Greg McAfee
