Down to Earth Gardens and Nursery

Over the last 10 years we have DIY'd rehabs of two good sized yards to turn them both into gardens. We have enjoyed excellent advice and product from Down to Earth in both homes. The nursery carries great perrenials and good sized trees, in super condition. The store carries fertilizers, deer repellants, etc., and neat little gift items. Staff are knowledeable, helpful and delightful. We will continue to shop here.

I had a scraggly lawn, overgrown weed infested plantings and a parking area that was an eyesore. Kelly walked the site a couple of times while we exchanged ideas for changes. She drew up scaled plans with every detail shown. Work commenced on time and was finished in less than 3 days. The yard was stripped bare before new landscaping started. We ended up with a beautiful area of plants on 3 sides and a rock wall along the driveway. The centre was covered in crushed rock over ground cloth. Down to Earth was very professional, prompt and courteous. Everything was done exactly as promised and all materials and plants used were first class. I would recommend them to anyone and plan to use them again in the future.

Happy to recommend Down to Earth for everything from landscape design to installation. We have just finished a complete landscape renovation of our front yard and are so pleased with the finished result. The old, weed-riddled lawn was scraped off and they started from scratch, adding raised beds, new sprinkler system (sub-contractor Down Under - also excellent) and seeded lawn. As they have their own nursery, they were able to supply top quality plants for the job and they look great. Kelly, Eko and their team were professional, reliable and timely in their delivery. They provided a beautiful design based on our needs and ability for maintenance, worked with us to tweak it to work within our budget and completed the job on time and on budget. They also followed up, in person, after completion to ensure that we were 100% happy with the finished product, answer any questions and to make sure the new sprinklers were set appropriately to reach all of the necessary areas. We are getting a lot of compliments from passersby and our neighbors, and are looking forward to working with Down To Earth again in the spring to renovate our back yard.

Having worked beside Kelly & Eko of Down to Earth in a professional capacity on several construction projects, we knew exactly who to call when it was time to landscape our own property. Their design and selection of plantings complimented our home and have been providing colour, privacy, and happiness to us ever since. The staff at Down to Earth were efficient, careful, and knowledgeable. We will definitely be calling them again when it's time for Phase 2!
