From initial design to the finished product, everything was perfection. For over ten years in our lovely Tudor style home, I dreamt of creating a coffee bar alongside our kitchen. As our whole family worked from home during the pandemic, I thought it was a good time to put my ideas to action and built one. This is when I found Benton. District Custom Woodworks makes excellent quality designs and does not skim on quality. Benton, as well his staff, are very skilled, knowledgeable and nice. District Custom Woodworks did a great job designing and building a custom cabinet for our den. Benton and his team were professional and courteous from initial contact to follow-up after delivery and installation. The design process was easy and fun. We enjoyed searching for designs and styles that fit our personalities and our home. Once we handed them over to Benton, he presented us with clear renderings of our cabinet, from which we further drilled down the exact features we wanted to incorporate or leave out. The whole time he was patient with our requests to flip back and forth on a couple of layout options. Once our cabinets were built, the delivery (to our multi-level condo building) and installation was fantastic. The team was organized and cleaned up after themselves. They were even kind enough to keep their noise level down (I didn’t ask them to but it was very considerate) since I work from home. We began this process just before COVID-19 lockdown and the delivery was made as lockdown restrictions were lifted. Benton was very understanding of the situation and very flexible with our concerns. Not only did Benton and his team have to deal with what we were comfortable with but also having to abide by our building management’s requirements. They handled all this with ease. We are thoroughly satisfied with the build, installation, design, and service. Without hesitation we will look to District Custom Woodworks for any of our cabinetry needs in the future.

District Custom Woodworks made my dreams come true with my kitchen cabinet upgrade. My cabinets are so modern, I’m pretty convinced I won’t have to upgrade for many years to come, so I’ll just wait for everyone else to catch up. They’re the absolute first thing everyone notices when they walk into my kitchen. Benton did a phenomenal job working with me on the design. He was very patient and worked tirelessly to complete my design, fabrication and installation in record time. Now, I swear when I go into other kitchens, the cabinets look dated. We've just gotten our entertainment unit built by District Custom Woodworks and we could not begin to tell you how very much we love it. It beyond met our expectation. The design by Benton is incredible; you can tell he puts a lot of time and thoughts into his design. He listened to our wants and needs and were able to come up with a design that is slick and modern - the details in this unit are incredible. It looks like something out of a AD magazine. I am so incredibly happy with the unit. His crew of installer are incredibly nice, professional, and polite. They clean up after the work each evening and made sure I was happy with the unit before they left. I have text it to many of my friends and family members- the answer is unanimous- 'Absolutely Gorgeous!!" My husband is a man of few words. He asked me to make sure to text Benton and say 'Good Job!' That is a big compliment from a man who never say much and who do not go out of his way to pay compliments. This is my second project with Benton and we can't wait to work on future projects with him. So very happy we did this install with Benton and District Custom Woodworks. I hired Benton to custom build new closet doors. The old ones were extremely heavy and unpractical. The process involved several visits: measuring the space, choosing the material, making initial deposit. Benton offers a good selection, you can chose from various colors, grain and finishes. You can also chose hardware. The toughest part is the wait. I signed the contract mid-May and the installation was done mid-August. The finished product is of great quality, the doors are light but sturdy, and the bottom track makes the doors run very smoothly. I am extremely happy with my new doors, love them! If you want a great quality product, go for it. If you are in a hurry and want "things now", District Custom Woodwork might not be for you.

My wife and I had been looking for a bar design for our entertainment area and DC Woodworks proved to be the perfect answer. Benton was attentive and responsive to our design thoughts as well as having great ideas himself. We had a wonderful experience with Benton. We purchased our home two years ago and our cabinets were a custom install from District Cabinetry. The cabinets are beautiful. We contacted Benton to have additional shelves made. He was extremely responsive and got the job done in no time (even though his child's birth was imminent). The shelves were perfect and he even dropped them off at our home. We would definitely work with Benton again!

My husband and I happened upon District Cabinetry and Benton Chrea it's owner quite by chance. We wanted to redo our kitchen and we were headed out to a different place, but the traffic was too bad. We passed by District Cabinetry and decided to take a look. I consider that our lucky day! We made an appointment for Benton to come to our home and give us an estimate to do the work. Benton is the ultimate professional. He had wonderful ideas about design! His estimate was comparable to other's, but his enthusiasm and attention to detail sold us! Our kitchen is gorgeous! He answered all of our questions promptly and finished the job on time!

We had a 5-star experience with District Cabinetry (also known as District Custom Woodworks)! It started with the careful and thoughtful consideration of our needs and preferences in discussions with owner Benton Chrea. He asked great questions and listened carefully to our answers! He came up with a preliminary design that we modified with his help into its final form. We were so pleased in the planning stage for the initial project caused us to add 2 other projects for other rooms. In the end, he did a huge built-in for the study, another large one for the master bedroom, and transformed a very complicated master closet footprint into a design that maximized every bit of space available. He personally visited the house twice to ensure good measurements and to be sure that we all visualized the same end product. Benton will tell you that I have a lot of construction experience (as a developer and builder), and I quizzed him on technical details of the design that he was unused to from customers. Let us just say that we were at the same time discriminating and exacting and he had excellent answers to all of my concerns. The project was finished on time (actually, a little earlier than originally planned) and was finished exactly on budget. Frankly, in the beginning, I thought the proposed charges were kind of high, but we had seen some of his work and his showroom and had developed faith in him, his product and team. The final product is beautiful, met all our design and quality goals, and is clearly engineered and manufactured down to the millimeter. His installation team was fantastic! They spent the better part of 3 days installing and tweaking everything, making sure we understood how to take out the drawers (a little tricky, as they are fancy, really nice, European hardware), etc. The installers were friendly, careful, respectful of our home and were clearly focused on achieving a quality result and pleasing us. So, in the end, my concerns over price were entirely unfounded, because the time invested in creating the design, the quality of the actual product and the care and professionalism of the installers proved to me that my wife was right – we really should pick District Cabinetry for our project! We unhesitatingly endorse Benton and District Cabinetry! We love and use our 3 built-ins every day and appreciate their work (and our investment) every time we use it! We just finished building a pretty complex home and this vendor is at the top of our list in every respect. Our biggest regret in our new home is that we had to buy our kitchen from our builder, Toll Brothers. We would have much preferred to spend that budget at District Cabinetry to get a unique and custom kitchen adapted precisely to our tastes and needs, where our smaller projects tell us that they would have excelled! Please don’t think that I am a gushing kind of person. Neither of us are. We are simply that pleased! This is easily some of the best money we ever spent on any of our homes! If we can refer District Cabinetry to anyone, we will certainly do so. If we can use them again, we would not hesitate. In today’s world, getting what you paid for is a challenge.
