As lead Colorist, Andrea's unique background in art, theater and interior design has armed her with insights and color visions for residences and businesses alike. Not only is she highly experienced in the nuanced world of color, paint and wall augmentations but has vetted contractors and artisans to make your design dreams come to life. And what sets her apart is that she backs all this up with the scientific understanding of the physiology and emotional responses to light's beauty- which we call COLOR. ANDREA TYSON BIO: Andrea has a vast and eclectic array of experiences in the design field spanning over 25 years. She has attained top positions with some of the world’s best artistic talents in NYC and around the country. You can see her craft and dye work in the original Tony Award winning Broadway shows The Lion King, Kiss Me Kate, and Phantom of the Opera among many others. She has worked at such reknowned institutions as the LA Opera and Juilliard School of Music. Additionally, Andrea has had the pleasure of working for fashion greats Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger, where she honed her skills in textiles, color management and the business of beautiful design. Andrea holds an MFA from University of Cincinnati with studies at FIT and Parson’s School of Design. She has practiced Interior Design work since moving to the Bay Area 15 years ago, specializing in color for the past 7.
