We were building a custom house in 2006. Detail kitchens worked with us to design a spectacular kitchen, 4+ bathrooms and an office. We were so happy with the results and everything still looks great and works well today. Mike is great on service and he will oversee every project. Amazing work. We hired Detail Kitchens to make some custom cabinetry for our dental practice. The workmanship and quality was incredible. Mike delivered everything ahead of schedule and coordinated the installation around our office schedule to minimize any downtime. I would highly recommend.

My husband and I can't say enough good things about Detail Kitchens, located in Arlington Heights, Illinois. We had our Kitchen, laundry room and three bathrooms completely gutted and remodeled. During that time I was going through chemo for cancer. They were so understanding and compassionate through my whole ordeal. The contractors made sure tarps were up to minimize the dust, they cleaned everything up every day and tried to keep the noise down because they saw how sick I was. Detail Kitchens had wonderful ideas and designs and worked with us every step of the way. Even when I kept changing my mind it was no problem to them. All they wanted was for my husband and i to love the end results, and we certainly do. Our neighbors kept coming over to see how things were progressing. Kitchen was demo'd down to the studs, plumbing and electrical done by contractors, all as professional and personable as it gets. Even cut the wall and moved a doorway to enhance the fit of the fridge; done so that you'd never know the difference. Old wall oven area re-purposed into a pantry which we LOVE. Design and layout of our kitchen kept almost as it was, so easy to feel at home with the new look. Detailed finishing has impressed several "trades" friends who have seen it. Kindness and generosity of time and expertise was heartfelt and so appreciated.

I had the pleasure of working as a sub-contractor for Detail Kitchens many years ago. When it was time to remodel our kitchen we knew there was only one company to call, Detail Kitchens. We took our townhouse kitchen that consisted of separate cooking and eating areas plus the dining/living room and turned it into a beautiful open concept chef’s kitchen. Our kitchen now has a full wall of upper and lower cabinets plus a center island that is almost nine feet long. So as not to detract from the beauty of the kitchen, Detail Kitchens designed the island with a microwave drawer; a feature that we absolutely love. Since we were so happy with the design and installation of the kitchen, we decided to do a major overhaul of our two full bathrooms on the second level. The master bath is a huge space that had a tiny shower hidden behind the door, a toilet room that was way oversized and ten feet of counter that was the perfect height for children. After discussing what we hope to gain from remodeling, Detail Kitchen turned our bathroom into a spa retreat. The shower is now triple the size. The cabinetry is kitchen counter height and 27 inches deep. The floors are travertine marble and are heated, the shower too! We are extremely happy with the design and installation of all the projects we've have done with Detail Kitchens. Without hesitation they are definitely the go to company for kitchen and bath remodeling.

Detail Kitchens helped redesign my small kitchen. They knocked down a wall to make counter/eating space. There wasn't much they could do without a total reconstruction of my living space! The remodel made my kitchen and adjoining family room look so much bigger. I love my cabinets, and have the storage space I need. The contractor who did the work was wonderful, cleaned up every day, and was fun to work with. The designer seemed to know exactly what my tastes were after working together a short time and could point me in the right direction readily. Usually an indecisive person, she helped make the job so much easier. Friendly, helpful, accommodating people here.
