My husband and I had used other builders in the past, on several home renovation projects, both big and small. When it came to the last reno we wanted more than just a person who would come in, do an “ok” job and leave. We wanted someone with good communication skills, who would take the time to understand what we really wanted and what we were trying to achieve with the reno. Troy from Woodice was the ultimate building professional and in my opinion his quality of work is incomparable. But more than this, Troy was able to offer great advice and make both building and style suggestions that made all the difference. The quote Troy gave us was spot on, which meant we were well prepared for the outlay – never underestimate the importance of this - there’s nothing worse than getting half way through a project and realising that the costs have blown out and you cant afford to finish it. With Troy there were no surprises, you always knew where things were at, without having to chase him down for the info – again a testament to his great communication skills. Throughout the entire duration of the reno, Troy and his team remained trustworthy, reliable and hard working. The house looks better than what we expected, we still get comments from our neighbours…almost a year later. I would highly recommend Troy and Woodice for any home reno.
