Deborah DiMare is an accomplished wellness & ethical design expert, luxury interior decorator, author, speaker and global influencer for the healthy driven & ethical design movement.
Deborah founded the ultra-luxury interior design firm, DiMare Design, nearly 20 years ago. Her projects are focused on creating healthy, mentally & physically positive environments with purpose. Deborah uses materials & furnishings that are ethical, sustainable, less toxic & that promote wellbeing.
Searching for ways to make her premier, award-winning luxury work even more unique and meaningful, Deborah began combining textures, scents and colors to create optimal wellness environments. She incorporates Design Therapy on all her projects. Benefits range from stress relief and increased optimism, to providing a peaceful milieu for people with particular needs, like children with Autism.
Her knowledge and passion in ethical & wellness design led to the creation of CertifiedCrueltyFree.Net, an online global community whose mission is bringing awareness and education to others about wellbeing & cruelty free design. Deborah’s courses have been taught in over 60 countries.
Deborah and her expertise have been featured on the Today Show, NBC & TLC. She has been featured in national and global publications such as Dezeen, The Hollywood Reporter and Refinery29. She is now writing her second book and continually lectures nationally about wellness & ethical design.
Deborah was born and raised in New York. She moved to Miami in 1997 and has enjoyed raising her daughters in Florida. She and the family, including Lucca, their dog, spend much time on the beautiful beaches that Miami has to offer.
