David was so patient with this whole project, from start to finish! It took me a long time to source the parts for the project and so many delays but he made suggestions and confirmed every detail before we even started. He was also very flexible with his time as we (a family of 5) were living in the small space he was working in (with one bathroom) and a basement dig happening in the house at the same time during winter weather! Working on a 100 year old house has special challenges and he managed all of these with thoughtful consideration- from the structural integrity to the finishing details and our budget. We are just thrilled with the result- the hallway now sets the tone for the rest of the home renovation. We will definitely have him back to work in our home and would highly recommend him for yours!

We had another contractor that was suppose to install our flooring and due to issues they abandoned us. I got a hold of David at DCF and they came in gave us a very reasonable quote and took on the job. My house is a 110 year house and they took care of the project and got it done quickly and effectively. The work is superb and I strongly recommend this company. They kept us informed about the project and I took a bad situation and fixed up the work of another contractor. Great job!

Dave and his team did an amazing job on our project. DCF completed multiple jobs in our house; installed engineered floors throughout, opened up dividing wall between dinning and living room, custom built in fireplace with storage and T.V mount, expansion of master bedroom closet with sliding barn door and built in shelving for the laundry room. We could not be happier with the finished project(s). Dave's knowledge, high level of craftsmanship and professionalism made our project a slam dunk! I would 100% recommend DCF for any project, we look forward to working with Dave again soon.

The best! We hired Dave to do our basement renovation. Our house is 100+ years old and the previous owners had very creative ways of building things. Dave was able to work around these "interesting details" easily without any additional expense. His attention to detail is spot on and he is able to work with a very minimal set of instructions. Looking forward to him taking on our addition in the back in the spring!

We initially hired David and his crew to design and build an outdoor space including a deck with seating and a privacy wall. The detail in the design and workmanship made the project which was done on time and within budget. Shortly afterwards, we contracted David to assist with interior work that we had initially started to do. He did a beautiful job with the fireplace, flooring, doors trim and tile work as well as fixing our mistakes. The only downside was that if we engaged him earlier we would have had the job completed sooner and would have saved a considerable amount of money.

We needed a shed to store our bikes and we got an awesome cedar shed with room for entertaining (TV, bar, fridge). Great quality, design and price! We also replaced one side of the fence and heightened the other side with new doors. Very satisfied.

Replaced our flooring in lower level of house. Listened to our desires and suggested different options to us within price ranges. Completed work on time and within budget. Were very neat and left the area cleaned and tidy. We are very pleased with the work done. We are related, but assure you the info given is accurate and we consulted together as client and professional.

I hired this company through a recommendation from a friend. I found David and his colleagues to be professional and respectful of my time and budget requirements. He was able to discuss the pros and cons of supplies and construction material and spent time giving me suggestions and advice about different design ideas when I was unsure as to how something would look. He provided me with high quality workmanship for my modest budget and would frequently contact me if there were any revisions. As a professional contractor I was extremely pleased with his timeliness and punctuality, always showing up when he said and keeping a tight schedule. He took great care moving my personal effects and containing the basement construction site to minimize the dust. The work site was always left in a tidy manner after each day’s work. I would highly recommend this company if you are considering any renovation.
