My business, if you want to call it that, is a blog about architecture. Its weekly column ran for 24 years at the Providence Journal until September 2014. During that period I was the only American newspaper architecture critic who both promoted traditional architecture and condemned modern architecture. Those opinions now characterize the column and other writing on my independent blog, architecturehereandthere.com.
Services Provided
In elegant but rambunctious language I demonstrate that public taste is actually more sophisticated than the modernist orthodoxy of the architectural establishment, which looks down its nose at what most people think about what buildings should look like.
