Dana Liebegott Construction

Dana was hired for the entire landscaping project at our newly built home. We needed someone creative due to a steep front elevation and a manhole that was exposed at our front door. Dana seemed very experienced. We saw other homes with his designs and liked his work. When discussing cost Dana would give estimates and then the actual would be thousands higher than original. He claimed it was because of how the builder left the yard. He stated our project would take him 4-5 months. It actually took 10 months and he still hasn't finished what he claimed he was going to and it is 4 months since we've seen him. We can't reach him by phone or email. We have not received any communication from him or anyone from his business. We gave him his final payment because he said he had a very sick family member. He promised to come replace about 10 plants that died( because he took so long to plant them), give us the remaining felt ground cover supplies that we paid for, provide us a list and diagram of our plants, stain and seal our patio and help guide us with the initial pruning work. He talked a great talk but in the end he lied and stole from us. We are compassionate and caring people who felt like we needed to trust that he was being honest about his sick family member so we paid him his final payment. You can never trust anybody in business it seems to me now. He was very expensive!
