Damien was committed from the start, and still helps us with bits. Long after the house is complete. Our house is a protected cottage in a conservation area in Dublin. Because of Damien's skills and approach, we were not only able to restore the cottage to its former glory, but also extend it to 3 bedrooms and get permission for a driveway entrance. All without compromising the style of the original house, any major objections from Dublin City Council or us even once getting annoyed (like they do with Dermot Bannon). I would not hesitate to recommend Damien for any project big or small.

Damien from Culligan Architects worked with on the renovation and extension if our old railway cottage in Dublin. He was brilliant to work with. We brought him to the site and explained what we imagined ( really all we could think of was building an extension straight out from the old house into the garden). He went away and came back with an idea for a beautiful L shaped extension which was completely modern and so complemented the original house. The whole place is beautiful now. We have a fab south West facing garden that has been given a great sense of privacy by the extension design. We were just going to build on it!! The house is full of our own little quirks and wishes because Damien really took our wish to be totally involved on board and let us play with lots of ideas. We've had so many complwtments from all our friends, family and complete strangers who sometimes knock on the door to say they love the house!! A real pleasure to work with. Thanks Damien.

We hired Culligan Architects for a comprehensive refurbishment project that involved retrofitting a house for energy saving and heat retention, along with the redesign of some areas of the house including rebuilding an extension to the rear. Damien's suggestions helped us to keep within the budget and to add things that we wouldn't have otherwise considered, such as changing around the upstairs rooms to give us three large bedrooms rather than two large and two unusably tiny ones, along with a good-sized and redesigned bathroom. I have no hesitation in recommending Culligan Architects. They provide a professional, personable, and inspired service!
