About Us

Do you have a design challenge? Finding unique and creative ways to solve your design challenges is a great way to use an interior designer. My expertise with color, textiles and furnishings enables your spaces to really reflect your individual style. My training in space planning, materials usage and project management enable me to provide outstanding design options backed up with industry knowledge and experience. My job is to take you 'out of your box' and help you envision the spaces that you have always dreamed of. Don't know what style you want? No problem - together we explore what motivates you to feel the most comfortable in your home and build on those feelings that truly makes you feel at one with your home. I have been a professional interior designer for 14+ years. I have had the wonderful opportunity to live outside the US, and as a result bring those experiences into each project I work on. I love bringing spaces to life with color - whether it be a home comprised of subtle neutrals or impactful hues that create a mood - taking color inspiration from art, fabric or grannie's antiques sets a great path for a room re-do. Valory is truly amazing! Her attention to detail and creativity in design creates successful projects. Valory has the ability to understand a clients visions for their kitchen and bath projects. Her works stands on its own, but to find someone as enjoyable to work with as Valory is a huge bonus!

Valory was a joy to work with. She went above and beyond guiding us through all stages of this project, from design to sourcing products, and coordinating with contractors. I would give her 6 stars if that was an option.

Valory has helped us with multiple projects in our home since 2012. One of her strengths is her truly comprehensive and cohesive approach in pulling together the whole design of our home. People who come to visit say that the living spaces feel comfortable, warm and inviting. These people have visited our home over many years and the only difference today is the changes in the rooms that Valory has suggested. Besides her fabulous sense of color, she really listens to us and she is able to work with many different style preferences. She is patient, creative and professional. Her attention to detail is fabulous and she is organized. She suggests without pushing and is willing to work within the parameters of a budget. We love working with Valory and have called her back on multiple projects.

Valory is the BEST! From the first moment I met her, I knew she was the one for the job. Her knowledge on color is unsurpassed. She was able to walk my project and give the best recommendations on everything from wall color, flooring, lights....you name it, she can tell you what you need. She took the time to see what we liked and gave us beautiful ideas that we LOVE! Her price is very reasonable and she makes herself available even after you think you're finished. She continues to give me great advise on the finishing touches. I wouldn't use anyone else in the Valley!

We purchased a semi-custom home which left a LOT of choices to be made after the home was built from light fixtures to cabinet pulls to laundry room and closet organizers, not to mention decor and furniture. We are so grateful we found Valory and her team of designers and contractors. What could have been overwhelming turned in to a collaboration of our tastes and desires with Valory's expertise. Together, we created a well-designed, comfortable home. Valory was in the details every step of the way, providing answers to questions and detailed choices laid out in an organized, efficient manner. Not only was Valory's design eye exceptional and creative, but her willingness to "sit" at my home for hours waiting for deliveries/contractors, etc., relieved so much pressure from my own schedule. I highly recommend using Valory for any of your home design projects from big to small. She is one-of-a-kind.

We were doing a remodel and had no idea where to begin. Valory helped us not only get started making that first decision, but helped all the way through the construction process and even after. She was very patient with two people that didn't know what they wanted and often changed our minds on things we hadn't previously liked. She brought us many different options and best of all, she listened. She would hear things we liked and picked up on them and was able to transform that into an idea for the various rooms and overall house theme. Thanks again for all you did!

Working with Valory was a terrific experience. She worked with me specifically on the colors, window shutters, and fireplace facing. I'm completely satisfied with her work. Her eye for color is fantastic. She is more than reasonable in her invoices, prompt with estimates, and so very easy to work with. Her goal is to give the client what they want, even when they don't know exactly what they want. It's a process of discovery. My blah, drab condo turned into a comfortable country retreat. We still have a little more work to do in a bedroom and I look forward to working with her again.

We worked with Valory on the remodel of our family room, dining room, kitchen and powder room. Since this was our first remodel ever, we were a bit worried about the process, length of time, costs, etc. but Valory acted as our project director and did an impeccable job. She found great contractors, made sure everything was generally withinin the stated timeframes, and has wonderful taste in colors, fixtures, etc. She also acted as consultant when we recently purchased a dining room rug after the remodel. She was always available, acted promptly, and most importantly, listened to what we wanted and gave recommendations accordingly. We really enjoyed working with her (she is a true professional) and now we come home every day to our lovely home and could not be happier. We highly recommend Valory!

Valory is AMAZING! We worked with her on renovating the exterior and interior of our main wedding reception hall and our office areas. We pretty much gave her a description of what we wanted it to feel like and she was able to immediately grasp it and begin describing ideas that were aligned. She put together a couple of slide decks for us to select from and she was conscious on recommending items within our budget. We especially felt comfortable throughout the process because she would label what we were describing with phrases like ‘modern elegance’ and ‘rustic lodge’ which we could say ‘yes, that is exactly what we want!’ Renovations are complete and the final product exceeded what we were wanting to accomplish, we have a modern, elegant and premiere wedding space to fit our vision and our clients LOVE it. The investment in hiring Valory was well worth it, we are extremely happy with all of the work she did, she was also very responsive and above and beyond helpful throughout the process! Thanks Valory!!
