Copper Creek

The copper creek/paragon team has been extremely difficult to work with, specifically the owner. We have outstanding requests from 14 months ago (closing) that still have not been addressed. The landscaping and drainage/grading was so bad that the city had to fix because the builder wasn’t cooperative. I would not recommend this builder.

We have now closed on and occupy our build with the subsidiary of Copper Creek, Paragon Homes at the Dunmore Community in Rosemount. I wanted to post a review for people considering this builder/development as there does not seem to be many out there. Our experience with Greg, the owner of Copper Creek & Paragon Homes was the least professional I have had with a company in my life. There is little communication and what communication does happen are all lies to buy time and shut you up. He has flat out refused to complete the final grade on our build which is preventing the sod from being laid as stipulated in our contract. Furthermore, I’ve been told numerous times over the past many weeks by Greg’s daughter/Marketing Manager, Hannah Hanson, that a check has been mailed to our fence contractor for funds included in the sale of the home for the building of a fence. However, the fence contractor has yet to receive a check. After numerous attempts at a resolution have fallen on deaf ears I have had to resort to getting the Mn attorney general’s office as well as the Minnesota Department of labor and industry involved. The owner of the company in response to our complaint filing with the attorney general’s office has responded by blaming me for the fact that the work is not getting done because I had the fence installed which was included in the sale price on the home and therefore had to be installed by my closing in order for it to be included in the sale and not escrowed however, he did not complete the final grade while he had open access to the backyard. In addition there is no fence around either of the side yards or the front yard yet they also have not yet been final graded or had sod laid and I have not been given an excuse as to why this has not been done. Text from Greg 5/27/2021 @ 6:45pm The fence was installed prior to final grade being done that’s the problem as we cannot get into the back yard Paragon did not instruct Hanson Bros Fence to install fence Tyler did Hanson Bros Fence was not Paragon’s contractor although the amount for the work was added to the purchase price Jamie did not tell Hanson Bros to install fence we don’t even have their contact information As Tyler is well aware the title company would of escrowed the money if your lender would of inspected property and sent instructions to do so in which they didn’t Topline being paid is between title company and your lender We can get your lender involved if you wish Paragon Homes is not responsible for fence being installed prior to final grade being done nor Topline being paid As stated above Tyler is responsible for the fence being installed and your lender for not escrowing landscaping We will send the Attorney General the facts and wait for their response-End of text I strongly recommend anyone considering conducting any business transactions with Greg Schweich avoids doing so

Copper Creek is an exceptional high end custom home builder. We bought our dream home late in the construction process. This was to our advantage to let their design team make the best unbiased choices. They could not possibly have done a better job with their selections. There was no corner cut and every choice was made in favor of high quality. I have no doubt this home will be very long lasting, forever elegant, and timeless. The team and the family owned company are very friendly and great to work with. Their construction manager, Jamie, has been remarkably responsive to deal with typical new construction fixes. They are here immediately and are focused on every little detail. A great experience all around!

Greg and Mary were a dream to work with on designing and building my new home. They delivered exactly what I wanted ON TIME and ON BUDGET! After hearing the horror stories about new construction I was a little hesitant to take on my first new home build. This turned out to be a process that I really enjoyed. Not saying that we did not encounter a few challenges, but with each obstacle their team had immediate suggestions and solutions that remained in the budget and kept the integrity of the project. I would highly recommend Copper Creek.

Our beautiful dream home was built by Vince and his team. He was attentive and had wonderful suggestions, brought the right professionals to the table and make our experience nearly perfect. Today we love our home and are so grateful for the great attention to detail, quality of work and passion from Vince and the Copper Creek team.

Copper Creek built our house. From the beginning, everyone within the company was enthusiastic and respectful of our wishes, and worked hard to make our home what we wanted it to be. The subcontractors who contracted with Copper Creek were truly the best in the business. Everyone was timely, friendly, and expert at their crafts. The construction schedule was followed almost to the letter, and we were in the house within a few days of the expected completion date. The cost of construction met our expectations as well. The house is beautiful and exactly what we asked for.
