Recently purchased the senses vertical blinds. These were not the cheapest company (Laura Ashley were actually cheaper) but liked the texture and colour so much decided to give Clover and Thorne a go. Very disappointed with the quality and fit of these blinds. They are not blackout- large gaps between the slats means sun shine through even when fully closed. No, it is not due to bad measuring- we spoke to Clover on 3 occasions to ensure our measurements were correct. The control mechanisms are poor quality and not particularly robust. Some of the blinds (we had 7 made to measure for one room) were too wide, so we had to remove some of the verticals to fit the Windows... You are asked to stipulate left or right hand pulls - we did, but it is clear they do not adjust the blinds accordingly, so the right pulley opens with the 'good side' facing the room (I guess as this is the standard operation) but the left opens with the blackout facing the room. Overall extremely disappointed and wished I had not wasted my money and remained loyal to Laura Ashley who never fail to deliver good quality well made products.
