Cisney & O'Donnell Builders & Remodelers

We had Cisney & O'Donnell do two projects for us. First they did a "renovation" of our in-ground pool by renewing the sidewalls, putting a new liner in, and installing new filter lines. We could not have been happier how the pool turned out. Within a month after completing that, they put an addition onto our house. The end product turned out great. When there were any problems or concerns, Denny Cisney, Jr. always took care of them and handled them in a professional and courteous manner. We are very pleased in how the job turned out, and would highly recommend dealing with C&O!

Cisney & O'Donnell has done numerous projects at our house. We replaced our windows and some doors. They brought out a cut away of the Sunrise windows they use so we could see the quality of the workmanship and how energy efficient this product is. We would highly recommend them for work.

I had just recently bought a home and was looking for some repairs/small upgrades to be made shortly after we moved in. After some extensive reviews I decided to go with Cisney & O'Donnell, after some good feedback from previous customers of theirs. Jason Radle came out to our home and gave us a fairly reasonable quote, not the lowest quote, but very respectful with the warranty that he was guarenteeing us (which was very important to my wife and I since we plan on owning the home for the rest of our lives). I can honestly say that Jason and his team went above and beyond our expectations. They were quick to find items that needed repaired, which our home inspector didn't find, and gave us no hassel on fixing those items while they were there. Justin (one of the guys actually doing the work) even stopped by and did work on his way home, off the clock, to ensure everything got completed in a timely fashion. Jason and Justin both stopped by several times to make sure everything was going smoothely and done correctly. I plan on hiring them in the future as we make additional upgrades to our home. I (We) Highly recommended them for all your homes needs!!

C&O'D refinished our basement: put in a bar, wainscoting, replaced drywall ceiling w/drop ceiling, new lighting, crown molding, extended a wall, finished a hallway and previously unfinished room, etc.--extensive, high-quality work totaling about $70k. We are very happy with the service and workmanship and have recommended C&O'D to our friends and neighbors, and we've contracted with C&O'D for other projects. A few items worth noting: 1. They were very responsive to us if we wanted to change something mid-project. 2. They back up their work. We saw this in several ways. Any time something wasn't done properly the first time, they quickly responded to look at the issue and send people over to fix it repeatedly until it was perfect--at no additional cost to us. 3. We worked with Jason Radle and Melissa. They were both always very friendly and professional. This company clearly cares about leaving a good feeling with their clients, and they certainly did with us. 4. Jason went well above and beyond his duties. To take one example, he saved us several $k when he noticed that the seals in some of our double-paned windows must have broken because there was condensation between the panes. Based on the age of our house, he figured the windows must still be under warranty. (He was right, but we had no idea, nor how to find out.) He figured out where the windows were purchased, contacted the company, and got them to replace around 10 windows throughout the house. He always came with representatives from the company to make sure that the "job" got done right, even though this was just Jason being a good guy and wasn't part of any job he was hired for. WOW. 5. We are picky and not easily impressed. We're impressed.

The work was OK but the salesperson was a little clueless. We were having a door replaced. He told us that the door could be keyed to match our front door; that turned out to not be true. He told us they could match any paint color; we later learned they couldn't. By the time we learned this the door had been ordered and, as we were getting our house ready to sell, we decided to just get it done. I wrote a letter to the owner about the salesman's lack of knowledge and never got a reply. I later got a customer survey in the mail (they must send them to all their customers) and again listed our problems and again heard nothing back. We had estimates for other work from C&O'D but, because of the lack of responsiveness decided to have someone else do it.

Initial consultation with representative was very courteous and thorough. I was impressed by the standards this family business holds itself to. I had windows installed a few years ago by this company and am confident they will perform the highest quality work for the bathroom remodel I am about to have completed.

Cisney & O'Donnell's rebuilt our front porch, put in windows, and rubber roofs above outcroppings on a larger roof of a turn-of-the-century mansion. Their work was excellent. The crew was efficient tearing off the old construction, cleaning up the debris, and rebuilding the new construction. After 10 years we have not had one leak in the roof, the porch still looks like new and the window works perfectly. The crew was polite, did not interfere with our daily routines and was quite pleasant when asked questions about what they were doing and why. The supervisor did an excellent job helping us with design decisions and recommending the best materials for the job. We certainly are pleased with all aspects of the work Cisney & O'Donnell did for us. We would recommend the company to anyone doing new construction or repairing/rebuilding an old building like ours.
