Whenever I need any paint work or plaster repairs for my home in Nashville, I always call Bud Zegel at Hisway Painting. He gets the work done as quickly as possible, in the time frame I need it done, and his great teams always take care to do work that is very high quality. They have done exterior and interior work over the last fifteen years at my house and always do terrific work.

Edgar from Hisway recently painted our kitchen cabinets. They did great prep work including taping off all areas, creating a painting zone for cabinet doors in our garage and carefully removing all doors and hardware. He spray painted the cabinet and doors without a single flaw. Way to Edgar, they look great.

Worst paint job and customer service ever. Hisway was hired to paint our privacy fence, pergola and deck. Very inadequate prep done, and the wood was not allowed to dry properly and sufficiently, in between the rain storms we were having at that time, before the owner sent his crew out to apply the first coat of paint. We experienced bubbling and paint peeling almost immediately after that coat was applied. Especially on our deck. It was turning out so bad that my husband and I decided NOT to have Hisway finish it, and my husband would do it. My husband started from scratch, redoing the whole deck properly, and it came out beautiful. Just wish the rest of the job that Hisway did, our fence and pergola, would have come out as nice. We really should not have paid Mr. Zegel one penny for the very unprofessional and terrible job that was done, and more importantly, for the terrible customer service we received from the owner, Mr. Zegel. He was the most unpleasant and unprofessional contractor/owner we have ever dealt with. He seemed very annoyed and put out when we brought our concerns to his attention, and gave us a very uncaring attitude about the whole thing. He prides himself on having 30 years of experience under his belt, doing meticulous and wonderful work and giving the customer top notch service. Well, we did not experience any of that, and we would definitely not ever recommend this company to anyone.

Highly recommend Hisway Painting. We had three rooms painted, including switching out the color on the trim and built-ins. Isis was our lead painter and she did great work to make sure everything was taken care of. All of the staff were professional, arrived when they said they would, finished the job when they said they would and did great work. Our rooms look amazing. We would not hesitate to use Hisway again.

From the initial contact with the owner to Edgar and his professional team of painters I could not have been more impressed with the quality of work done by His Way Painting. They went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right from the prep work to the caulking to painting to repair work to touch up and clean up it was all done with exceptional skill and a very courteous and gracious attitude. I will only use His Way Painting in the future.

I have used Hisway Painting for both my personal residence and rental properties. The work is always done perfectly and the price is competitive. This time was no different!

Hisway restained our screened in porch, the lintels above our windows, painted two exterior doors and refinished/stained our front door. Melanie was there every morning by 7am and stayed until almost 6. She was kind, careful, skilled and communicated with us every day about progress and what she had done. She cared about the work she was doing for our home. The work she did looks beautiful and we will be happy to use Hisway again.

We were frankly disappointed. Trim work was sloppy. Disregarded weather forecast and filled our driveway cracks only to be interrupted by a major downpour washing away all filler. Charged us anyways for “cleaning” the driveway even though it was a mess after the rain with sandy grit everywhere. Will need to be redone entirely. Hung our garage hardware upside down. Lost a piece of the hardware. This isn’t even an exhaustive list. They seemed bothered by pointing out these things. Would not recommend at all.
