BJS Assoc is a full-service boutique design firm with a talent for creating modern living spaces with a gentle nod to classicism. Based in New York City and managed by founding principal Bonnie J. Steves, the firm is known for transforming interiors into elegant spaces that foster a fresh, comfortable and easy lifestyle together with inspired design sensibility. Steves finds striking solutions to competing worlds with each interior design assignment — the world of her client’s sophisticated entertainment needs and the more casual everyday family needs. Her design is charming and cheerful, and we love her thoughtfulness in responding to every need of her clients with maximum of style. Bonnie Steves is an extremely professional Interior Designer based in NYC. I work for a well known textile and furniture producer and have experienced many types of business practices in our industry. Bonnie's professionalism, patience, and understanding of high-end production and product knowledge sets her at the top of the list. I would most definitely recommend her to someone who is embarking on any size project, who wants their designer to be a good listener and who will deliver a very personal space.

I've been referring Bonnie to my NYC clients since I met her a few years ago. She has a keen sense of style and a wonderful reputation within the industry. She's one of New York City's Top Designers. I've had the pleasure of working with her. Her children's rooms are always wondrous and whimsical. She has an intuitive feel for what her clients are looking for and clearly has a wonderful rapport with them. Her showcase rooms at the Holiday House in New York City are always absolutely gorgeous!!

Bonnie Steves is an inspiring and committed designer with many years experience who I totally trust to get the job done. As a Feng Shui Expert, Bonnie and I have worked together on a few projects to my extreme delight. She brought her exquisite taste to the table to help me achieve my Feng Shui goals. The clients were very happy at the collaboration. Bonnie not only has all the best sourcing at her disposal, she knows how to roll up her sleeves to make things happen. She understands synchronicity in a project and I highly recommend Bonnie Steves as an excellent designer.

There is an ease when she combines the traditional and modern allowing for a design palette that is just exquisite for today’s living. On all fronts, it has been incredibly easy to work with BJS Assoc Interior Design to elevate our living space from an uninspired white canvas to a dramatic and beautiful home. I engaged the services of BJS Assoc because I was moving out of suburbia into a high rise in a metropolitan city with an entirely different lifestyle. I was seeking a fresh, sophisticated look that was reflective of the space and view, but creating a more modern lifestyle. Bonnie has an extremely clear and articulate sense of design. I thought as a collaborator we would be capable of bringing our combined vision into my reality. She has a sophisticated eye for color and her ability to mix colors and patterns in a refined and expected way has led to a cohesive space that I was very pleased with. BJS Assoc made the process with open communication a very easy and fun experience.
