We just had our basement finished by SB Builders and Construction - to include framing, insulation, drywall, plumbing, flooring, and electrical work. From start to finish, the project was incredibly fast. Bob was super responsive and communicative throughout the entire process. Any concerns raised, were promptly addressed. Bob really seems to care about customer satisfaction and the quality of the work his team completes. We would do business with the company again.

My husband and I had purchased a piece of land in McLean and were meticulously interviewing various contractors until we came across SB builders and Bob, from GetGo we totally felt at ease with his mannerism, Professionalism, knowledge, and passion he has for construction. It was very difficult not to see these qualities in him hence we decided to go with them and I think speaking on behalf of my husband and myself, I think it was the best decision we ever made. We highly highly recommend SB builders and construction and specially Bob just an all-around wonderful, honest , Professional, courteous person.

Bob and his team were fantastic to work with and built my dream garage! The finished product is exactly what we spoke about on day one and Bob communicated very well throughout the whole project. We had multiple bids for this project and ultimately went with Bob for several reasons. One, the price was reasonable for the work and two, during our initial meeting he listened very carefully to what I wanted and his passion for building and delivering what the customer wants was apparent. Once we had the permits in hand, they worked incredibly fast to deliver an extremely well built, beautiful building. Bobs attitude and customer service is stellar and again, he communicated very well throughout the project and ALWAYS answers his phone!

I can't imagine any business owner wanting to please his clients more than Bob does. He loves his job, and it comes through in the work. He's accessible and responsive, even on nights and weekends, and not once did we feel he was overcharging us. He embraced our design vision and steered us away from some bad ideas that, frankly, other contractors would have proceeded with just because they wanted to charge us for them. He's assembled a terrific team that works extraordinarily hard to deliver great work on time. Cesar, Nixon, Edwin, Jorge, Angel -- we're grateful to all of you. We initially chose to work with Bob over some other contractors because he guaranteed our (significant) renovation would be far enough along for us to move into the house in less than two months. Friends who'd gone through renovations were skeptical that Bob could deliver on that promise, but he did, completing the vast majority of the work nearly two weeks before our deadline. We couldn't be happier with the end result, and we're thankful to Bob for all that he did to make it happen.

SB Builders and Construction are an awesome company. We had two small bedrooms combined as well as a closet built. Further, they finished an attic nook for my child's "secret hideout" and fixed my stair rail. This was no small project, as a load bearing wall had to be removed, and there was venting to be rerouted. The crew worked quickly, and had the entire project completed in a week. The quality of their work was evident in the seamless trim work, painting, and detail work. They cleaned up after themselves too! The owner, Bob, is easily one of our favorite people. Great personality, easy to work with, and always has great ideas. He knew we had a tight budget, and when our project hit some snags, because old houses always have surprises, he made it work. Bob and his crew did extra work and did not charge us for it, we are thankful for him!

SB Builders was really good to work with. Bob, the owner, was attentive and responsive like no one else I have worked with. His crews were responsive to requests and happy to work with me when I had questions or comments. Their work was up to my standards, which are quite high, and when something didn’t go as I wanted, they corrected it to my satisfaction. The punch list of corrections was small and had only minor items, and they have taken care of all of them. This was a master suite renovation with architectural plans, and they were good about following the drawings and asking questions when a conflict between plans and the current space occurred. I cannot say enough good things about SB.

SB Builders and Construction, Inc. were recommended to us by a friend to carry out a full kitchen remodeling and home addition. It was a large job and we had to work on a strict budget but after meeting Bob felt comfortable he would deliver the right project finished to the standard we wanted. Bob was not only honest, but he was also enthusiastic about the job and went out his way to offer advice and spend time with us making sure we made the right choices when other firms weren't accommodating. After interviewing several contractors for a various home remodel projects Bob was the only contractor that didn't just ask us what we wanted, and come up with a price tag. Instead, Bob asked us what we wanted to achieve and provided solutions to fit our budget. He considered everything with our projects to include personal life changes involving an out-of-state move and expected baby; you can imagine the stress. With a deep understanding of our family situation and thoughtfulness, Bob took it upon himself to alleviate as much pressure for us as possible and went out of his way to provide first-rate care for us as customers and as people. At times, when he could afford it, he would send his entire crew over to this project to ensure it would complete in time for our move and to ensure that my wife would not have to endure any time with construction at the last trimester of our pregnancy. His communication at every level of this project let us know that he is indeed the gold standard to measure others against when it comes to construction projects. We couldn't be happier with the artistry and quality of professionals that have improved our home. Without a doubt, Bob and his crew have gained our future business with his work ethic and humanity. I recently purchased a house with no garage. I called several builders for prices and ideas to build me a two car garage. After interviewing them all, I decided to hire SB Builders. The owner Bob impressed me the most. He was very honest and knowledgeable and had some great ideas. His price was competitive and he even did more than what was on the contract at no extra money to me. I highly recommend Bob and SB Builders and will hire them again in the future to finish some other projects that I need done.

I purchased a bank foreclosed house about 6 months ago, as expected my newly purchased home was in need of a lot of work. I started looking for a contractor that were able to fix my house quickly and within a reasonable price, after speaking with several GC’s, I came across bob with Sb builders and construction. Bob (the owner) was just great, he had a vast knowledge about these types of properties, (bank foreclosures) and he quickly pointed out things that I needed to know and fix. I decided to hire him and his company. They completely redid my property, including new shingles, gutters, concrete walkway, the deck, completely redid the kitchen and the bathrooms. Not only they did a very professional job, but they even finished my house sooner than they had promised me. I highly recommend bob and Sb builders, great guys, great service and I was absolutely impressed.

My wife and I interviewed several different construction companies to remodel our home. Our project was a relatively large project, we needed 3 bathrooms,and our kitchen remodeled, hardwood floors installed and the whole house painted. We cannot emphasize enough on his honesty, knowledge, and their quality of work. His staff and employees were top notch, polite, clean, and just wonderful professionals. The entire project was done within 4 weeks and we were amazed. We very Highly recommend Bob and his company, and we will let all of our friends know about them. We will definitely have Bob and his company again for all of our home repairs.

We needed to have our porch redone and our main clean out line moved from within the porch area to an area in front of the porch. SB builders (Bob) immediately contacted us to set up an appointment time to do an estimate for the project. HIs price was good for the amount of work to be done and based on previous reviews we decided to have SB do the work. The project required the complete removal of the old concrete porch, replacing the support columns with more modern maintenance free columns and relocation of our clean out pipe. The clean out line required a ten-foot-deep hole be dug in our yard which his crew limited to the smallest area possible moving several very expensive boxwoods with great care. The boxwoods were able to be replanted and saved. We would hire SB builders again.

I first contracted them to replace flooring that had been damaged in a flood and the second time to take care of several home maintenance projects that included pouring a concrete pad for a shed, electrical work and fixing an outdoor drain.
