Ben is a creative and collaborative architect who went above and beyond to help us realise our vision. He extremely calm and has an amazing ‘can do’ approach. We felt in excellent hands and the finished project has transformed our living space and entirely changed how we live in our house. We have recommended him to other people who have gone on to receive the same fantastic service.

We have been working with Ben from studio 22a for the last year on an ambitious house extension. He’s amazing! Does lovely sketches to help you get your head round how everything will look and function. We also changed our mind in regards to the concept for the scheme and he worked up something completely different for us (and much better). The best thing I think is that he doesn’t try and push his agenda too hard and is completely calm and unflappable. The project feels collaborative (even though he’s obviously the one leading you through it) and he allows you to take your time to interrogate the options and what is going to work. I’m really excited to see how this scheme is going to turn out. I think it’s genuinely going to transform how we live (as a family) in the house that, before we got started, hadn’t been changed for a hundred years.
