I had the worst experience. My floor dried out and cracked and they sent some woman out, who said it was our fault. The wooden floor is gorgeous but all cracked. I got no satisfaction and eventually will have to pull it up and replace the expensive wooden cherry floor. The product was taken out of the company’s line of floors. I asked them to come look at the floor. They refused. I live in a building with 500 apartments and according to management no one ever had this problem. Some floors are 50 years old and no cracks or ripples throughout the apartments. The contractor who recommended them had no explanation. He is has a fabulous reputation and has put floors down for the past 30 years.

We are sorry your floor has cracked. The "some woman" sent out is a qualified and certified flooring inspector who determined that your home was devoid of normal levels of moisture in the air due to your extended winters away from the home. You are welcome to have another inspector see the floor but you have chosen not to go that route and instead turn to social media, on various occasions, to try to defame our company. We still suggest you have a different inspector look at the floor so that you can have peace of mind. We sold your installer, who we know to be qualified, a fine product that has not caused such issues with any other customer, and we cannot take responsibility for the manner in which you kept the floors post installation. Floors are often removed from collections as they fade from style, it is not at all unusual for a manufacturer to discontinue a line. One more correction to your original review however, our records indicate your installer purchased the floors in 2014. We also did not receive notification of the cracking until 2018.

I've owned my hardwood contracting business for 11 years and have been doing business with Harvey and Joe Bell equally as long. As a hardwood flooring professional, I rely on Bell for most of my prefinished flooring needs. They are a family owned business and I will always choose a family owned business over a big box store. Their sales staff is professional and very knowledgeable and it is for this reason that I send my customers to Bell when they are looking for quality hardwood flooring. The showroom is fantastic, with a wide array of flooring available. If the desired product isn't a stock item, they will order it for you and have it delivered to your home quickly. I highly recommend Bell Floor Covering!!!

Words C A N N O T describe how much we absolutely love doing business with the boys at Bell! Not only for their wide array selection but their knowledge and expertise trumps all! No matter who you get the opportunity to work with the BOYS AT BELL will give you the best customer service you can ask for! Their invoicing is prompt and they offer all services from product, delivery and installation. They even recommend all the tips and tricks if you need to relay any useful information to your contractors so all is on the same page. This is a family run business that has built thousands upon thousands of returning customers running to their door.. and then there is the Boys at Bell waiting with open arms.

I have been dealing Harvey Bell for thirty three years . Harvey is the second generation and his children Joe and Matt bell have been doing and amazing job keeping up with the lasted products. It is great to see the great job that these to men have been doing

We used Bell Floor Covering for two projects in our home & were so happy with the products and service! The selection in their showroom is amazing & the customer service is so great: helpful, knowledgable & friendly. They came out to the house to help with making sure we had the right product & that it would work for our needs. As someone who also is in the design world, I am familiar with lots of different vendors and can say that Bell Floor Covering goes above and beyond with product knowledge, diverse collection in their showroom and are just great to work with. Looking forward to our next project with them.
