We worked with Barbara Barran at Classic Rug Collection to design and install 10 rugs at our new house. Our house is very modern and we wanted rugs that would fit the style and add a lot of color and vibrancy to the environment. Barbara did a great job on the design and the implementation was first class as well. We did have an issue with one rug and Barbara replaced it without hesitation. I have always thought that you learn more about someone's service when there are problems and the handling of ours demonstrates the great service Classic Rug delivers. We met with Barbara to discuss designing a rug for the living room of our new house. We had been looking for a ready-made rug for about two years, and we had also worked with another rug designer. Nothing seemed to work right. We spent a lot of time discussing design ideas with Barbara until an interesting concept emerged. She sent us a preliminary design that we liked. However, she felt that it was important to finalize it by coming to our house to ensure that the rug colors would go with the room colors. So, she drove 150 miles to do this. The final result was spectacular. The rug is the centerpiece of our living room, and we can’t imagine the room without it anymore. Barbara is a very talented professional designer, and the quality of workmanship of the rugs that she designs is extremely high. We highly recommend her to anybody who wants a high quality custom rug.

Barbara Barron, president of Classic Rugs, personally designed two rugs for me that have been the highlights of my apartment. One is a large, stunning hallway rug, visible as soon as the front door is opened, and the other is in the library--a gorgeous rug of pastel colors and free-form design that has held up beautifully, in spite of stains or shoe scuffs--both easily cleaned off. Barbara was attentive to every detail, made sure the work was done on time, and followed through afterward to see that we were happy with it all. Everything was handled professionally, yet with a warm, personal touch. I could not have been happier.
