James was a true pleasure to work with. He handled every aspect of this process with pleasure, never got flustered, and was always on time, dedicated to the project, answering the call, keeping me updated, figuring out solutions to problems, and more. His work is high quality. He doesn't cut corners. He uses great subs and demands the best from them. I would absolutely use him again for another project. I got lucky working with such a great guy.

James and Dwayne did a great job working on our house. I find reviews of remodels a bit like getting new tires. They are always better than what you are replacing, so the real test is after you have had time to live in the space before you can really give a full review. James made the process as smooth as a major project can be and Dwayne was always there to help mitigate anything that went awry. A year later, we are as pleased as when we moved back in.

This is our second project with Attaway Homes. Jim and Dwayne were very personable yet professional - responsive to our concerns and open to our vision, yet readily able to offer helpful suggestions based on their experience. High quality work, yet remained within our budget. When problems arose, they responded immediately. We had a bathroom redo 2 yrs ago and recently a sunroom/patio revision. I am especially impressed with the gentlemen who laid the tile and brick on both projects - true artists in their own right! I have already recommended them to a friend!

James was the contractor for an outdoor kitchen/pavilion we had built. He did an excellent job. As with any job, changes or issues would arise, but he communicated very well and did a great job sticking to our budget. We are very pleased with the final product and would not hesitate to hire him again or recommend him.

James and crew were great to work with and finished a complete renovation of a 3,700 SF home on the day he originally said he would finish (16 weeks total), which is incredibly impressive for this business. Everything about the project exceeded our expectations and the service beyond completion has continued to exceed expectations.

James and his team are extremely professional and knowledgeable when it comes to home construction & remodeling. They set reasonable expectations for the homeowner, Architect and Designer, and make every effort to fill full their obligations. I highly recommend Attaway Renovations. I have heard so many horror stories of working with contractors. Not true with James Davis. He is highly organized. I knew exactly what costs were at all times outlined in detail. No surprises. Skilled workmen actually came on days they were scheduled. James assistant Dwayne was very solicitous of my requests and oversaw the project in every way. The quality of the workmanship was above average. The clean up was meticulous. Any issue I had was addressed and solved. You cannot go wrong with Attaway Renovations!

In a whirlwind trip, we visited Dallas, bought a house and interviewed several contractors before returning to Europe. As a designer, my standards are very high and I knew that who ever I chose as our contractor would need to share my vision and keep a close watch on the details. All of our quotes were very close, but I chose Attaway because James was the most communicative, which we knew would be extremely important when renovating from such a distance. Attaway uses Buildertrend.com, which allowed them to share process photos throughout the project. When we arrived back in Dallas the house was nearly finished and everything looked beautiful. We’ve renovated several houses and this was, by far, the easiest and most successful. Thank you James & Dwayne.

James is a true professional. He oversaw a major renovation of my new home. 2/3rd of the square footage of the house was taken to the studs and completely remodeled including moving and building out a brand new kitchen, adding two bathrooms and a laundry room. Exterior access points were moved as well as windows being moved and resized. James was proactive with updates and delivered on the project timeline he initially committed to. His foreman was also incredibly professional. Follow up was immediate and when issues occurred, as they will on a project of this scale, there were discussed and resolved immediately and transparently. I would hire James again for any project and would recommend his work to family and friends.

This was my first experience with a home remodel. I had a lot of fear about the process, the finished result and fair pricing. Attaway Construction exceeded my expectations and I was very pleased with the finished result and felt I was charged fairly. My house remodel is beautiful and James and Dwayne did everything I asked them to get every detail done to my specifications. I would definitely use Attaway Construction again!
