Living 10 hours away from a building project can be stressful but working with Arlene and Kaitlynn made the process creative and fun. Kudos to Arlene Williams Kitchen Designs for a fabulous renovation of our house, which was built in 1979. Arlene and her team professionally and patiently helped us identify important features to include and was always available to discuss other options as we moved through the process. We have remodeled several kitchens and many bathrooms through the years but Arlene made this project the most pleasant and stress-free one we have ever experienced.

When thinking of creative solutions for our space, Arlene suggested enlarging the doorway between the kitchen and dining room creating a much larger open space for us. She also suggested more subtle changes that gave us more counter space which makes prepping and cooking easier. Arlene is very detail oriented. We were kept in the loop throughout the whole process and her updates on our kitchen were very helpful. She came to our home a number of times to make sure everything was done properly and to our liking. Arlene conducts herself in a very professional way. It was apparent when we first met with her that she took her profession very seriously and that she would be the perfect fit for us. I have built several houses and remodeled a couple as well and often times the situation does not allow for all of your personal choices to factor in as much as you might want - there are always constrains of one sort or the other. For this reason, having someone who understands your project and listens carefully to what you need is most important. In my case, working with Arlene was not only delightful but totally efficient and professional. Arlene was able to come up with solutions specific to our desires and the space allowed. She is extremely aware technically and detail oriented while at the same time not afraid to think outside the box to offer ideas and use her experience. Arlene was professional, creative, and responsive, we are delighted with our kitchen. She helped us to design it within budget and everything was delivered and installed on time. She inspected the finished product carefully and made sure that everything was perfect, ordering replacements for a couple of things she wasn't satisfied with. Altogether a very positive experience and I would certainly recommend her.

Our challenge was while living here in Bluffton, SC to design cabinets for a new home in Jackson Wyoming. We needed a kitchen designer who was patient, creative, flexible, and able to recommend a value-option for a second home. In addition, our design scheme is 'mountain modern' which is slightly beyond our comfort zone so we required design consultation as well as a cabinet layout professional. Arlene met each and every one of these challenges. For us, one of Arlene's key attributes is being a careful listener. Every client has different priorities and she paid close attention to what we were looking and never tried to 'steer us' toward a different route. The minimalist streamlined look that we were striving for required careful planning because there is a fine line between modern and just plain dull! This meant a lot of discussion about finish options, pulls, and a style that would complement the appliances, countertops and flooring we had selected. Arlene skillfully consulted with us about the layout of our kitchen over the course of numerous meetings. She is competent in all of minute details that are necessary for measurement, fit and function of a beautiful kitchen. Naturally, we went through several iterations and she guided us each step of the way until we were certain we had chosen the style, finish and layout this is ideal for our new home. Arlene has a calm demeanor that gives clients a chance to ponder their choices and come to a decision. Arlene was entirely at ease speaking with the WY installer when the cabinets arrived on site. He had a few questions and she was available to answer all of his queries. Our appliances will be installed next week and we are thrilled with Arlene's assistance in designing our kitchen.
