We used Ann Brown to update our Nob Hill apartment. She has great vision and exceptional style. She listened to our goals and created a space that we love. I have worked with Ann Brown on two projects. One was a remodel on our home in Marin Co. where we opened up walls to enlarge two rooms to increase a better traffic flow through the house. This project included new furniture, rugs, built in bookcases floor to ceiling & a half wall to add a corner to the room. This was done efficiently & efficiently with. no disruption to family life. The colors we choose are bright , fun & these are the two most used room in the house. This project was done about 5 yrs ago & was on budget. The second project was our home in Tahoe, this was a 10,000 sq. fooot redecorate of furniture & bedding in everyone rm of the house, including of new ceiling light fixtures, painting of walls & sme recarpeting. Another fun experience that went smoothly mainly because Ann moved in while the project was evolving to supervise on a daily basis.Both projects came in on budget & turned out beautifully. Compliments come from everyone. I highly recommend Ann, she does not put her stamp on a project as many designers do. She allows your vision to come thru but she will tell you when an idea will not work & why. We had some discussion about a rug in the Tahoe home, I insisted the rug stays & we had to work with the colors in the rug & wow did she do this beautifully. Ann is the only designer I will use & I have recommended her to other family members & friends. She has to keep working, no retirement for her!

We hired Ann Brown to design our home in 2010. It was a large project and required great attention to detail and a lot of work. We absolutely love it and it is exactly what we envisioned. Since then, she has designed two other vacation homes for us. Ann has impeccable design taste and skills, is always on time and on budget and is an absolute delight to work with. I have worked with Ann Brown on numerous projects over a number of years. From city flats to suburban ranch houses to second homes along beautiful waterways. Ann has always brought great skill, and a particular talent with color, fabric and proportion to the projects. She has designed whole remodels for us along with smaller updates. Ann works beautifully with the contractors and specialists (AV, etc.) to ensure an excellent outcome. She is deeply focused on meeting the client's needs and aesthetic sensibility, while opening doors to new ideas. She has worked both locally and long distance, with equal success. Ann is a classy designer, very efficient and lots of fun to work with.. I have worked with her on two different projects and they both have drawn many complements. One was our bedroom where she designed built in drawers and a counsel cabinet and we love it. The other was a lobby in a first class Nob Hill residential building. The lobby was done in an elegant traditional style and continues to garner praises from many.
