AEK Interior Design

Angie was an absolute joy to work with. I met with several contractors to get estimates and timelines on our complete kitchen gut and remodel. From the minute we met, Angie and I just clicked. She was different in that she understands both interior design and construction. We could bat ideas back and forth and it was refreshing to have a trusted partner that could speak both languages. On time and under budget. We LOVE our new kitchen. I am always recommending AEK to my friends. If you're looking for a budget conscious, stress free renovation partner, AEK and Angie are it.

We did a huge addition and renovation project with AEK! We expanded and completely remodeled our kitchen and built a new sunroom. In addition, we remodeled multiple areas. Angie is fabulous and we could not have been happier with our choice. We heard about Angie from a friend who also gave very high praises on the extensive work she completed for them. Throughout the project we knew Angie would take care of everything and she always did! Everything was done with quality and integrity. Angie is also great at providing ideas and suggestions. She was able to make everything we wanted work out even better than our original idea and within budget. Everything she has done has been completed with nothing for us to do. Of course, as there always will be with big projects, there were a few things that came up after completion. Angie was on top of them immediately and had them addressed without delay. Everyone she used was top notch and she had great relationships - so we were happy with everyone of the craftman that came through the door. It's very nice to have confidence in your contractor and Angie has certainly earned ours. I cold not recommend her more. We will definitely be using AEK and recommending her for years to come.

Angie initially came to my home for a consultation on decorating. She immediately set me at ease, and I found her very easy to work with. She helped me pick paint for a few rooms, and then coordinated the work to be done very quickly. She took me fabric shopping for window treatments and helped me pick the perfect fabric. It is difficult for me to visualize how something will look, so she would take a picture of the area, and then draw a picture of exactly what the finished look would be. I also used Angie to put new lighting in the kitchen. Again, she helped me pick out the right lighting and then coordinated the work to be done quickly!

Angie is very professional from a construction and design aspect. She is very organized and thorough with the project being discussed and planned down to every detail. She helped with selection of materials, we met all of the sub-contractors before the job started, and she was pleasant through the entire process. She finished on time and took great care of the parts of our house that were not being remodeled. The end result is beautiful and we have enjoyed our house tremendously.

At the beginning of 2012 we began to work with Angie Kearns (AEK Designs) on a complete remodel of our home. From the start, Angie was helpful and her knowledge helped us tremendously in the design phase and later as we moved to demolition and then construction. The scope of the work done was extensive as we added about 1/3 to our home and completely remodeled everything else. The project involved completely removing the roof structure and a variety of sub-contractors were involved. Throughout the project Angie was "on the job" daily dealing with our questions and working directly with all of the subs to ensure that work was done correctly and on time. Even though several issues came up that were not foreseen from the start, we came in very close to budget and very close to on schedule. I would highly recommend Angie for any new construction or renovation projects. She has a great eye for design and works hard to ensure that you get what you paid for.
