Almira Fine Furniture is a medium to high-end retailer offering the finest in North American solid wood furniture, leather and fabric upholstery, lamps, prints and accessories. We've been located on Highway 7 in Markham for over 36 years. We used Claire MacRiner when we decorated our living room and front hall. Claire is a warm-hearted, creative and kind individual and she made the process fun and easy. She asked us a lot of questions about our tastes, listened to our ideas and brought back a vision that ensured the design was something that we would love and that was well within our budget. In addition to purchasing new furniture, we were having our kitchen renovated. Claire's design ensured that the colours, fabrics and accessories complemented the colours in the kitchen. I would highly recommend Claire MacRiner to anyone who is looking to hire a designer. She really listens to her clients to ensure that their vision is realized. We are thrilled with the results and family and friends agree! We will be using Claire's expertise for our next project. Lynne Wood June 14, 2017

Horrible customer service from Ron Almira & Company and Hooker furniture. Other than reading you their bill of sale terms and conditions, will not lift a finger to help you even though you are reporting your dissatisfaction within 30 days! They are focused only on the sales. Do NOT buy here!!!! Unless you want to be left on a limb. There are many other stores which offer customer satisfaction guaranteed. Go spend your hard earned money elsewhere! Never ever again Almira, you have disappointed greatly!

I am sorry we could not accommodate this customer. The desk purchased by the customer was on our showroom floor. The customer spent well over 45 minutes going over the desk, checking everything out on it. Although we did not wish to sell our floor model desk, the customer was insistent they wanted it ASAP so we allowed them to purchase it. Well after the desk was delivered, the customer called with complaints that if these were problems (height of desk, top surface texture, etc) should have been observed when they looked and tried the actual desk in our showroom. There is nothing wrong with the desk. The customer called the manufacturer, Hooker Furniture, and they re-iterated the same thing. Almira Fine Furniture stands behind the products we sell. We have been selling quality furniture for our 35 years. We pride ourselves on our customer service when a legitimate issue arises, even if a product is out of warranty. In this instance, there is nothing wrong with the product and both the manufacturer and Almira have expressed this to the customer.

I love the service and attention to detail from the staff! I bought a beautiful custom made sofa and two occasional chairs for my living room! Arlene's expertise was exceptional!! I am so thrilled with the quality and the fantastic blue tufted sofa for my living room!! Thank you Almira!!!

We have a number of items purchased from Almira Fine Furniture in our home. The quality of their offerings is always a notch above and they are great to deal with. We like the fact the products are all solid wood and most are made in Canada.

Almira Fine Furniture - the store is beautifully decorated and maintained. The furniture and accessories are placed in groupings in such a way that you can picture them in your own space, small or large. The staff are all friendly and eager to assist, even when your purchase is just one of the small accessories vs. a large furniture order. You are also encouraged to browse and take your time, no "pushy salesperson" to harass you, yet, when you need assistance there is always someone nearby. They offer hundreds of options from different fabrics to different finishes - it would be impossible not to find something you'd like plus the ability to customize truly makes your purchase one of a kind. A great place to go if you're looking for good quality investment pieces for your home!

I have been using Almira Interiors for approximately 4 years for all of my major decorating needs. I have an older home but enjoy transitional and modern furnishings and they have a fantastic selection of high quality Canadian made furniture such as West Bros Furniture. We love shopping there and the staff are top notch.
