Alice Atkins McCoy, CMKBD is an award winning Kitchen and Bath Designer with over 30 years of experience creating new construction and remodel in the Florida, West Virginia, New York, North Carolina, Chicago, Louisiana and all over the East Coast. I have a keen eye for creating beautiful and functional kitchens for families. I listen carefully to my clients requests and go beyond their expectations when they see their finished space. Also dear to my heart is historic restoration and renovation. I am able to preserve and protect historic buildings while updating the interior with modern design and functions. I will measure your space and designs your kitchen or bathroom. I am there to help you make product and material selections; and oversee the project. I am here to help you every step of the way with your next design project!

Alice has good ideas and problem solving skills but ha zero skill to provide schedule or timely direction. Our kitchen ended up costing 3X her original guesstimate. She failed to order cabinets on time causing a 3 week plus delay. Her recommended project manager bailed 3weeks before the construction start date. Net, we cannot recommend Alice for any projects. Again good design, lousy execution

Alice McCoy designed our kitchen and master bath and did an absolutely phenomenal job. She approached our projects with the utmost professionalism. Her designs were both innovative and extremely functional. The cabinets we selected were both beautiful and timeless and of an exceptional quality. We would highly recommend Alice McCoy for any project around your home.

We totally remodelled our home including the kitchen and Alice was instrumental in designing our kitchen and cabinetry. She immediately understood what we wanted (modern European) although example of her work that we had seen were more traditional. Working with her was easy.

Alice has designed, sourced and managed the construction of two kitchens for us. Both were new construction. She did layout drawings, lighting plans, and sourced and helped us select cabinets, counter tops, appliances, and hardware. She has an unerring eye for design coupled with an acute sense of practicality and functionality. In other words, her kitchens for us looked great and were easy to cook in. She was quite good at staying within our budget, too -- no small feat given that our funds for both kitchens were limited. Also, each kitchen was quite different in size, style, and layout -- Alice worked with what we had rather than imposing a signature style or "look" on us. Finally, she is personable and easy to work with.

Alice did a bathroom and a small kitchen remodel for us in our guest house. She did such a good job that we sent her to a friend who hired her to remodel the kitchen. Best kitchen we have ever seen was the result. Her design work is great and she has sub contractors who do outstanding work.

Alice is a true professional when it comes to kitchen and bath design. Alice was very helpful with the design and layout of our new kitchen remodel project. She worked with a local cabinet retailer who supplied all the cabinetry and trim we needed. Alice followed up with us through out the installation process to completion. Alice really went above and beyond to help us out. We are completely satisfied with our new kitchen. I would recommend Alice's services to anyone.

She is cognizant of the client's need for a seemless experience without inconvenience. Alice designed our kitchen and we have lived in the house 10 years and are still very happy with the flow of our kitchen and the design. We have had friends and family rave about our kitchen after spending time cooking with me. My sister who lives to far away to have Alice do her complete kitchen remodel wanted her to do her kitchen.
